Nautica Guppy Underwater Seascooter for Kids Pool and Snorkeling Play

Great surfer for kids and adults if you're lucky enough to have a pool!! I had to guy one for each of my 3 grandkids, they loved it so much, they didn't want to share with each other! 🥹

Low power, would barely pull a 7yr old child through the water. In addition, the charge lasted only about 10 min. Overall, a waste of money.

This seems well designed and well made. It will move our 7 and 10 yo grandsons around our pool, especially when augmented by wearing swim fins. It is very buoyant and I attached a 5 lb weight to adjust for that. Then it was easier for the kids to dive down toward the bottom of our pool. Good fun for them to try to maneuver through some submerged hoops. Both hands must stay on the seascooter for it to work. Not enough power for effective use by adults but appropriate for youngsters as advertised. For adults, this company has a number of more powerful models, including some with cameras.

Initially I was a little disappointed in that the scooters weren't a little faster underwater. The grandkids had a couple of contests where one of them used a scooter and the other "raced" by swimming only. Both the 9 and 10 yo swam faster that the scooter. THE REAL POINT, I purchased these 2 scooters for the Grandkids and they loved them! It took all of 1 minute to master the controls and within a few minutes more they were making up pool games using the scooters which is the main focus. If it wasn't for the Happiness factor for the grandkids I would have only given these things a 3 rating. Edit: I am forced to write an update to my original review. These scooters are fun but I have had 2 out of 3 fail on me. I was only given a month's time to return for exchange or refund and now I'm stuck with the one that does work but I no longer want because I'm afraid that it's only a matter of time before this one fails, just being honest and not mean

This is not exactly what I was expecting. This does look nice and work fine, but it is definitely more suited for a toddler. I bought this for my 11 year old and she was bored with this. It does not go fast at all and you can only be pulled above water. Maybe if she was smaller, this would seem faster and more exciting but she tried this for a out 30 seconds and wanted to return this. The size is as described and seems like wood quality...just better suited for a smaller child. The price could be a tad cheaper for the product in my opinion.

Excellent toy for my 5 year old grandson. Works great and nice safe speed. Last long on battery power. Safe but only issue might be that long hair might get into the propeller.

Doesn’t work! Please don’t waste your money. My grandchildren were so disappointed!

Even though this is advertised for ages 5 and up, the power is not very strong. My daughter is very light ( 60lbs), but her brother who is about 80lbs found this scooter to be too slow and not able to move him well. I tried it too (I am 140lbs) but I found it more suitable for very young and lightweight youth.
