Barmah Hatsle Kangaroo Leather Hat 1018CR / 1018HC - Hickory le - Large

After reading the reviews that mostly claimed the hat ran small, I then ordered the large size since the 7 1/4 I mostly wear ends up being between medium and large. The hat is like a fitted hat and is lighter than leather as claimed by everyone as well. A very thin skin as it turns out. It looks very cool. The band goes good with the whole look. Its really a great fitting favorite now. Came with size adjusters too.I've had it a little while and worn this hat in different nasty weather. Rain, snow, wet in general and the hat still looks new. It was just snug and I didn't lose it in some 20 mph gusts. I treated it with some balm for the water proofing so I would use that some more but all leather benefits from that. Darkens nicely too. Would get another, maybe a gift for someone.

I wear a small to medium. Barmah's size chart says large so that's what I ordered. The hat fits okay. Then i noticed that they put a foam sizing strip behind the elastic headband in the front of the hat. It's about 3/16" thick and 3/8"wide. If I took that out it would be too big for me. Most size charts have me in a medium to small, so be aware of this.Other than that, I've only wore the hat once and like it so far. The shipping was good. Arrived in a day earlier than expected.

Great hat. Stylish, holds shape when crushed or folded, bounces back into shape. Great for strong sun or rain. Highly recommend

It was really nice to have the hat insert to make it fit perfectly. I needed a large, but the insert helped it to fit snugly.
