Readability is better than the blue ones
Use on our golf cart and it can be seen in the daylight. It is better than the blue ones which are nearly impossible to read in the daylight.

Awesome, easy way for a quick voltage readout!
The media could not be loaded. This is about as easy as it gets as far as getting a voltage reading from any source power. Huge, bright display and it has tabs on the back too so you could mount it on a dash or behind a panel. My use is a little more unconventional. I decided to have it set so I could measure voltage on spare batteries that I have around the shop, and use it to verify dropdown voltages from regulator systems. It works amazing in this fashion, and wouldn't hesitate to use it in others. It was a two pack, so I think eventually one may get hooked up into a more conventional use, but for now it is just there to measure battery voltage. This works awesome!

These Meters Are GREAT
I really have nothing bad to say about this product. I love that it just works right out of the box. I put it on my 6 vdc battery and it work Cool right. Then I put it on my father's 3 wheeled EV which is 48 vdc , The meter read 53.6 vdc which is right when fully charged. THIS IS GREAT PRODUCT. Ezzzzz to read

I decided to add a trolling motor to my kayak so I can spend more time fishing and a lot less paddling. I needed a way to see how much of a charge/ run time was remaining in my 12 volt battery. I didn't want to get caught out on the lake with a dead battery and have to paddle all the way back to the launch. I chose IS' waterproof battery monitor because of it's waterproof qualities. The monitor needed to be secure, easy to see, waterproof and removable so as not to be damaged while loading and unloading. It seemed that a small lockable storage container would be a good way to mount the monitor and would meet all the requirements. I used a caliper to take the measurements of the red IS monitor and then using my moto tool with an abrasive disk cut the proper size opening in the storage container's lid. The monitor then snapped into the hole easily. I used a fused wire harness with alligator clips on one end and ran the other end of the harness through a small hole drilled in the end of the container. Then I connected the leads from the monitor to the harness with wire splices. RED to RED and BLACK to BLACK. I added a dab of silicone caulk to waterproof the hole where the wires entered the box. Lastly I put some hook and loop tape on the bottom/underside of the container to securely mount it to the kayak. Location to be determined when I first use the new kayak configuration. The hook and loop tape will allow me to safely remove the voltage meter before transporting the kayaks home. I compared the IS voltage monitor's readout with a good quality voltmeter and it was accurate to less than 1/10 of a volt DC.Overall impression.... The IS voltage monitor was accurate, well built, waterproof and will keep me from getting in some trouble. Thanks for reading!
