I love this product. I have mature lips and i can control the natural color bleeding that happens with older lips. It stays and it is a lot less drying than other stains I've had. It is awesome but you have to keep your lips exfoliated and moisturized in order to go on evenly. I wear chapstick over mine. The color is slightly brighter than the swatches although it does fade in a little bit (I have four and this applies to all). The stain is a little shocking at first until it dries but it really is a pretty look. I just ordered the lightest color to see what its like since it looks like nothing and i will review it. I paid a lot for Kat V stain and this is way easier to use and less drying.

Love this. Nice build buildable color that looks natural and stays on all day. Scrub your lips and apply balm for best application. Doesn't make my lips feel dry, either.

i got this thinking it would be great but unfortunately the color was hideous. it looked like dried ink but a lip stain. it was dry, smelt bad and was actually hard to apply because of the angle of the brush. just didnt love it. gave it one try and said bye bye

It does last a pretty good amount of time but it’s very dark, a little goes a long way

I bought the shade Susan. It looks like vibrant magenta but when applied it looks more like a dark rose color. I like the color. Its easy to use and I really love the concept of how they made the pen so its easy to line your lips and fill them in. My lips are naturally wrinkly and dry so unfortunately the lip stain grabitated to every crevice. This is noticable in certain spots because it causes the color to be uneven. I dont consider myself to have mature skin, (Im 38) but the stain feathered at my lip line and I'm not sure how to stop it from doing that since the product is so liquidy. It's almost like using an alcohol based marker. I like this product but dont know if I'll buy more.

Buy Wonderskin for a better product at the same price point. I bought Rosa, shown as a plum. It’s an orangey brick reddish color. The color payoff is awful (I exfoliated my lips first for the best possible chance given). It’s blotchy even with a second coat. It doesn’t last long m, and they’ve got nerve saying it’s moisturizing. I expected better from Stila. I will be returning this.

This lip stain is fantastic. The color is rich and beautiful, goes on lightweight, and holds without transferring. It feels moisturizing rather than drying and wears so naturally. One of the best lip stains I’ve tried.

Fabulous stay on lip line. Nice precision tip

Came quickly. Packaged in a sealed plastic. Colour is really pretty, bright and fresh for spring/summer. The stain goes on easily. And remained on all day. Does not bleed, wipe off or get on teeth. I wore a gloss on top for shine. I will be buying other colours.

This is a GREAT matt lip stain that lasts for hours and doesn't bleed. However, the colour choices are woefully inadequate and the colour I chose online was waaaay pinker than I wanted, so it it sadly returned. Stila, please come up with some less disco colours!

Omg this colour is stunning it stays on so nicely and the wear off isn’t weird an patchy. I love the thinness of the edge, helps fill in the feathering of the edges of my lips that has happens with age. A bit of what ever you want on top and stunning.

One of the best lip stains I’ve encounter on my search for the longest wearing. Stays on a good 6hrs. Can add extra layers for deeper colour.
