The game is suitable for 2-4 players from ages 5+ The game was fun and easy to learn and both the children I played with enjoyed it, my youngest has even taken it to school to play with his friends at after school club.

Took this game on holiday to play with my family. After one run, very easy to get the hang of the rules and it's a pretty quick game. My son enjoyed turning his parents into lava monsters! Good quality cards in a card pack, and nice light hearted fun,

The floor is lava is a well-established game in my house that basically means you jump on the furniture when someone shouts LAVA! Goliath Games themselves have already gamified this activity with a pack that sees you throw down coloured stones 'Twister' style to prevent falling into the 'lava'.'The Floor is Lava: Rock Rumble' is a vastly different beast as it is a card game. The idea is to knock the other player into the lava by removing their boulders, you can protect yourself by adding more to your boulder collection. It is a variation on the matching game and simple enough to work out what to do. It is a fun game to play in the car or on holiday. The cards are well made and the illustrations are fun, especially the people in lava ones - they still seem happy for some reason. If your family likes a fun card game, then this is the type of thing that we play often.

Small pack that means it is easy to transport. Greta to take to restaurants or on holiday as only small, lightweight and compact.My 8 and 10 year olds enjoyed it. Takes about 15mins to play. Instructions are easy to follow and children understood them well.Would recommend as a possible stocking filler!

Great game to play as table game or when travelling too. It’s a good size so easy to pack in bags for travel. We played it as a three which worked well and lasted about 20mins the instructions are easy to follow and our 6 year old figured out how to play quickly. Really enjoyed it and we will play again.
