This is a great resin starter kit for beginners, or a nice backup for experienced “resinators.” It’s a simple 1:1 mix that self levels. It is considered non-toxic and VOC-free, but I still wear a respirator when using epoxy-based resin. It is easy to work with. Used my heat gun on any bubbles after stirring and pouring. It comes out clear and has a nice finish (not much post-production touch up needed). Overall a great kit that comes with nice resin and solid tools to help you create your next masterpiece—would make a cool gift.

I have used this epoxy on several projects that I can happily say were complete successes. I used this to encapsulate bench joints, on a bench that has a lot of family memories thats about 40 years old. The wood was still ok but weathered. This epoxy had a low viscosity so I knew it would work into every void as long as I worked it and tapped the wood to bring out the bubbles from the voids. All 4 joints are completely solid, I mean as hard as a rock. We do not use the bench much but after a day of curing I was very pleased with the results when I sat on the bench. I sanded this epoxy just to see how it sanded, it was really hard to sand due to the hardness which is what I wanted in the epoxy. I also used this epoxy to seal up some splitting, once again it worked flawlessly and I now have a solid encapsulated elbow rest on a wooden chair that was falling apart. I am not sure if I am using this outside of what it was made to do, but any slow cure type of epoxy usually produces the hardest epoxy if mixed correctly and this epoxy exceeded what I am used to from other epoxies that I have used in the past. It cures extremely clear and looks like its wet when cured, bubble were not an issue at all which I found very helpful, there was no opportunity to burn the epoxy popping bubbles since no bubbles were present when poured. I see a wide range of applications for me that I can use this for and a little goes a long way with low viscosity, I highly recommend this product.

This kit definitely deserves 5 stars. It has all main components that may be needed for the project. Epoxy mixes well without much of bubbling and is easy to work with. I used it to cover the wooden board in the kitchen that was getting some frequent moisture. This epoxy hardened to a nice glossy smooth finish, and to me it did a better job than any clear lacquer would.

This was our first experience with resin art, and this kit was so easy to use! Came with everything we needed. Results were fantastic and we can’t wait to try some more projects!

I have started to try and get my daughter (9 years old) into the world of making things with epoxy, so I wanted to get something that wasn't insanely expensive like epoxy normally is Se we got this and love it. It has worked great - I did a few small clear cubes, and they are truly crystal clear. I haven't had any issues with air bubbles/pockets, clouding, etc. It also takes color very well. I've mixed it with both solid pigment, regular inks and alcohol inks, and they all mix very well. The ratio is simple enough that a 9 year old can figure it, which is awesome as well!

I'm new at using epoxy resin, but have been super excited to jump into this craft. Not being an expert, I was looking for an epoxy resin kit that would be a bit forgiving to a newbie. The kit came with the resin, the hardener (nice size bottles at 16 oz each!), a stir stick, measuring cups for each bottle, gloves, and a plastic spatula.The measuring cups are pretty small, and are perfect for measuring accurately. I needed a larger plastic cup to pour and mix the resin and hardener into, and a mold. The epoxy resin dried really well by the next day, and even being inexperienced I can't find any bubbles in my little dolphins that I made. I'm excited to try adding mica and dyes into it next!I highly recommend this epoxy resin kit, you won't be disappointed!

I’m new to epoxy. This was easy enough to use. Simply add equal parts and mix. I didn’t have a lot of bubbles and the smell wasn’t bad. It cured easily and the shine was great! A good value
