Brilliant product arrived a day earlier than expected perfect size and easily fitted

Very good find, fixed in the hinge position on a metal railing swinging gate through to five properties.All fixed easily and gate working again fine.I think the bolt measurement was slightly shorter than I expected (measure from eye-centre to bolt end, maybe, not just the bolt measurement itself).It mattered not, for the job I had to do, but worth knowing.

I bought these for a reason different to that for which they're intended.I needed a retaining pin, a strong one, to slot through a hole on a fence/gate. It is an additional security measure to lock the gate on an evening. I also needed a pin of just under 20mm diameter and with an eye that I could attach a small bungee cord to, so when the pin isn't in use it hangs by the side of the fence.These pins are incredibly well made and come with two nuts on each. They feel like they'd withstand pretty much anything and I suspect they would.

Good sturdy eye bolts. Just the thing to hold up 8 ft gates.

So long as you have the right diameter for the holes in the gate these will do the job perfectly
