Brazing Rod
Worked as advertised. Had to braze stainless steel insert into brass fitting. Worked great. Very strong. Thank you.

Excellent rods - steel hydraulic line repair.
Great rods. Had to repair a wear through hole on a steel hydraulic line on a 44 year old loader - pretty much zero chance of finding a replacement line and having one custom made would have been expensive. I had never brazed before but using my oxy-acetylene torch I was able to get the line red hot and the flux on the rods drew the nickel-silver right into the hole. Took longer to clean and prep everything than it did to complete the repair. Made for a nice, solid repair.

Great for brazing stainless steel.
This worked great to braze some 1/8 inch thick stainless steel. Usually stainless steel is difficult to weld unless you have a TIG welder. I used these rods to braze the stainless with an acetylene torch. No issues, other then you have to grind off the flux afterwords. The color of the braze does not match the stainless, but that was not a concern for me.

Need either air acetylene or oxyacetylene
Works well, others sell nickel silver for way less, but honestly I think these are a little stronger. So it's what you are after. Definitely faster and easier with Acetylene, and if doing anything more than sheet metal, acetylene is a must.

Nice looking final result
I bought these to solder some brass but the melt temp is too high. Tried on a steel joint and had great results. Smooth good looking weld with 85000 tensile strength. I'll get some soft silver solder for the brass

Good rods but very expensive.
Good rods but very expensive. The flux works well and the joint is strong except on ancient brittle iron. My only complaint is the cost per rod. Wow!For those saying it is hard to melt using apropane torch - well of course. It is designed for Mapp at a bare minimum, but works far better with standard oxy acetylene.

Trash product.
I was attempting to put 2 pieces of stainless together. I got it glowing hot the entire piece with map gas. You did nothing but clump and barely melted.
