I’ll be honest — I wasn’t sure how easy it would be to get a 6 and 8-year-old to take a daily supplement. Every other vitamin we’ve tried has turned into a negotiation. These are completely different. My kids remind me now. Every night before bed, they ask for their “gut tablet” like it’s part of the routine. That alone is worth five stars. Beyond the compliance win, we’ve genuinely noticed a difference. Both kids had a tendency toward occasional stomach complaints — the kind of vague “my tummy hurts” that’s hard to pin down but happened a few times a week. Since starting these, those complaints have basically disappeared. Digestion seems more regular, and they’ve stayed healthy through a couple of rounds of school bugs that hit their classmates harder. The chewable format is perfect for this age group. Not too sweet, not chalky — my pickier eater (the 6-year-old) has zero complaints, which is saying something. My daughter really loves these pills, smell so good and taste great. She sees these vitamins as “candy” so if I forget she always reminds me to give her probiotics.

These seem to be working well. I give it 4 stars because one of my kids does not like the taste and states its chalky.

Got these for my son, but I tried them and they work better than any other probiotic that I have tried. They taste pretty gross though. My son breaks them in two and then swallows them.

I put my toddler son on this probiotic before the holidays and I noticed that his stool never developed a strong smell even when he had lots of holiday treats. His poop typically develops a strong mothball-like scent after a lot of sugary/starchy food. I finally figured out it was the probiotic when we ran out for a while and his stool developed the strong smell after some birthday party treats. I tried a different brand probiotic and it did not improve the scent at all, so we’ve switched back to Garden of Life. This specific blend seems to be really beneficial and keeps his stool smelling really mild, which I think is a very positive sign that he’s handling starches well. I can’t really speak to any immune benefits. We don’t get sick very often in general and his immune system seems strong.

Chalky and disgusting, Hard to chew as an adult, so how can my kid be expected to break their teeth on this?
