An easy and reliable way to extend your WiFi coverage
This was very easy to install as it can be powered over ethernet (PoE) - meaning only one cable is required from a suitable Switch. Setup was also quick and easy and the instructions were comprehensive. This has provided a far better WiFi signal in two rooms at the far end of the property, giving speeds of around the maximum we pay for. Rather than ceiling or wall mounting it we have just left it on the loft floor immediately above these rooms. So far it's been running for over a month with no issues at all. There are plenty of more advanced features too - but I've not had chance to look into those yet.

Excellent results
Excellent product. Connected with a Cat6 (PoE) cable, I was able to take my workshop from patchy one bar 30Mbps to rocksteady 5 bar 150Mbps. My only criticisms: 1) When wall mounting as I did, TP-Link seem to expect you to insert the cables from above. As I came in from below, the only way to fit the unit was upside down. It makes no difference, obviously, but the centralised TP-Link logo now sits upside down... looking a little daft. 2) There's a blue light that indicates status... but it's always blue, making it pretty vague. I reset the unit at one point but unless you stare constantly at this blue light, it's easy to miss the very subtle flashes that indicate status changes. Colour changes from red to blue or similar would have made this much easier. But overall, it does an amazing job that makes a terrific difference.

Solid access point, but benefits most from a full Omada setup
Overall, great performance and easy to manage once it’s running. I do wish I’d gone for the Wi-Fi 7 version though. You’ll get the best experience if you already have a full Omada setup with the controller and router — otherwise, configuration is limited to the local IP. Signal penetration isn’t amazing; there’s noticeable loss through a couple of single brick walls. Still, for the price and stability, it’s a strong performer.

Excellent WiFi coverage – solved our signal problems instantly
I bought this access point because the house we live in is built with concrete walls and floors, and the standard Sky router just wasn’t powerful enough to provide reliable WiFi throughout the property. The signal would drop off badly in several rooms. I installed this unit by hardwiring it through the ceiling and it has made a huge difference to the WiFi coverage across the entire ground floor. The signal is now strong and stable in areas where the router alone simply couldn’t reach. I can even get a usable signal in most rooms on the first floor now, although it’s usually around two bars rather than a full five. Because of how well this one has worked, I’ll definitely be buying a second unit to install upstairs once we put up the new ceiling and run the cable. For the price, it’s been a really worthwhile upgrade. If you live in a property with thick walls or concrete floors and struggle with WiFi coverage, adding one of these access points makes a massive difference.

Just perfect WiFi AP for my house!
I was looking to upgrade wifi zone in my house. I live it not a big house but other devices i tried struggled with walls and other things. This one is just goes. I have no problem with wifi signal strength at any part of my house. All works perfectly. Every single room, every single corner and even back of my back-garden is covered with Wifi6 signal. Highly recommend this product. App allows you to setup security, access and other important wifi setup options. This item is just perfect for what i need.

Have now bought 4 of these...
Note that the Access Point does not come with the necessary 12v power lead this needs to be purchased separately or run off a POE switch. Initially bought one access point but having read reviews of the TP Omada Hardware Controller decided to buy that which is a game changer.. The set up is very easy for non IT specialist and can be controlled from the Omada website. Set up additional access points is pretty much plug and play. The controller is very easy to use and also to rename the access points to logical names. The quality of WiFi signal is very strong and would recommend these access points for any dead areas in your home.

TP-Link stuff just works really well.
Link up with an Omada controller and you have a rock solid mesh that never seems to fail. Bought these to upgrade my previous TP-Link AP's as my internet speed got upgraded. Yet again, easy yo setup, config and install and then they just work.

⭐ Enterprise Power at a Consumer Price — EAP635 Delivers Big
After wrestling with the limitations of the EAP610, switching to the TP-Link EAP635 felt like stepping into another league. I installed two units—one on each level of a 2,000 sqft home—and the coverage has been absolutely flawless. For a device in this price range, it packs a serious punch with enterprise-grade features, seamless integration into the Omada ecosystem, and blazing-fast Wi-Fi 6 performance. Setup was straightforward, and both access points have been rock solid from day one. No drops, no quirks—just fast, stable connectivity across all clients, including smart home devices, streaming setups, and remote work demands. If you're looking for premium performance without the premium price tag, the EAP635 is a standout choice. Reliable, feature-rich, and clearly built to last.
