Twig Terrariums Lucky Gardener Terrarium Kit

to start, i paid for expedited shipping and it got here around the same time it should have if i ordered standard. i knew it was not going to get here on christmas which is what it was for (late on the review - was watching it grow before i really decided on an opinion). i ordered it december 19th which is cutting it short, but it got here over two weeks later on january 4th. frustrating, but some things can't be prevented i guess, and my mom loved it (which is where most of the positivity in the review is coming from).onto the actual terrarium: the inside contents really aren't the same as the picture. the branch it came with didn't exactly fit in anywhere, so we had to snap it in half. the kit came with mushrooms instead of rabbits which was a bummer. the paint on the mushrooms smudged and peeled within a few weeks. the clover grew waaay too tall, hit the top of the terrarium, and died. the other seeds barely sprouted before withering. there was more soil than decoration and it just didn't look full upon completion.three stars because it was fun to put together and observe, and the container is a nice centerpiece. the packaging was nice and secure. the people at twig seemed nice, and i was kindly taken to when i sent in an email asking about the shipping.maybe next time i'll try the really, REALLY lucky gardener kit. :-P

This is the perfect gift. It is packaged beautifully. Each component is labeled nicely. The glass fits into the glass base quite snug. Overall, it is such a fun piece- both to put together, and then to enjoy.And who wouldn't love those little lucky bunnies?
