Great replacement
This item was bought as a replacement for a Golf MkV passenger door mirror which turned completely black after the housing touched another car's mirror. Nothing broke although the mirror was unusable. I bought this to replace the blackened original. At under 2 minutes, it was easy to fit (courtesy of a generic online video tutorial). After several miles, the mirror has remained dust and dirt free and doesn't seem to fog or drip condensation. A great after-market choice so far.
