Pimped
I wanted a portable folding run for my guinea pigs to go to friends while I am away. It came really quickly and looks quite sturdy but, I agree with some of the other reviewers, it is missing lots of bits and piece that would make it secure. However, my husband spent a couple of hours pimping it with locks, catches, magnets and covers and it is great. Pigs spent a happy trial afternoon in it yesterday

Okay but needs adaptation
Does the job but once you got the latch it doesn’t close flat. We weigh the roof down with bricks as it is not attached and I don’t trust the local cats, foxes and crows. The kid would be very easy for a predator to move.

Nice, neat little run.
Not as I imagined, looks sturdier in the pictures. But still quick and easy to set up or move. And packs away neatly. If you have two rabbits get the bigger size.

ideal run for having a bit extra hoping space
very sturdy and luckily fits nicely with a rabbit run of a different make and our rabbit seems to enjoy being able to hop around during the day. having bars rather than chicken wire also makes the run stronger and being able to fold it up is another bonus as folds as flat as a pasting table. the only diy that i had to do was screw the wooden door latches on. the top doesn't sit flush with the 4 sides but thats actually a bonus with the tarpaulin that we've placed on top.

Good for my indoor rabbits
I think I would have been very disappointed with this had I intended to use it outdoors. The lid is smaller than the run so it doesn't sit squarely - if you try to match up the sides it can fall into the run when you open one side (this has happened - it gave my rabbit quite a shock!) so we've had to 'bend' two sides in slightly so it's not a perfect square. As another reviewer said, once the door lock is screwed on, the run doesn't fold flat but as I only need to fold it while I move it away from the cage to clean them out this doesn't really matter to me and the fact that it folds at all is definitely a bonus and the reason we bought it in the first place. It required no assembly for the main frame (all the hinges came pre-fixed) which made set-up ever so easy. All I had to do was put one screw in for the door 'lock' and remove the other door as we were placing it hard up against the cage. It's good for the purpose that we bought it for - giving our indoor rabbits somewhere to run around - but I'm not sure how suitable it would be for outdoor use.

Perfect for our guinea pigs
Very impressed with this. Fits perfectly on to our old rabbit hutch (we measured first!) Took the door off completely for it to slide over the top of our existing hutch door and the guinea pigs now have a fab run that looks like it was always there. We have strengthened it by screwing the top down to the sides so it now wont fold up but that does make it much stronger and it didn't matter to us about folding it away. Easy to put together and good strong bars rather than netting. Perfect for what we wanted and gives the guinea pigs lots of room to run about on the lawn.

Good little run but where's the fittings?!?
This is a good little run extension. I bought it to attach to a temporary coop whilst my new and existing rescue hens integrated and they were so much happier with the extra space ... (would never home hens in this long-term) It is quite sturdy but is NOT fox proof. There is no base so a fox/rodent would easily burrow under. The main reason for knocking stars off is that the lid does not fit properly - there is a 1 to 2cm gap on 2 sides, not enough for a pet to escape but come on!!! How hard is it to measure a simple square properly? Plus THERE ARE NO FITTINGS!!!! (apart from two squares of wood & 2 screws to use as door locks) You need to buy your own latches and locks! There is nothing to attach the lid part! Sorry, but charge a fiver extra and sell something in working order! Totally unusable til you've wandered up to B&Q and bought the stuff that's not supplied.Other than that - every wooden coop should have a run at least this size, otherwise you've got a pet in a wooden prison box with nowhere to exercise.

nice but not 4 ft (3.6 x 3.0 approx)
This was very easy to set up BUT is not 4ft so be aware the measurements are approx. I'll keep it as I have guinea pigs and it will do the job. I had intended to get another if I was pleased with it but I don't want two small ones. I agree about the lid not being completely secured but it's one of the cheapest around so sad to say you get what you pay for.
