Dishonored 2 for Xbox One

The first game, I was obsessed with and had played campaign mode start-to-finish; around 50 times. And it's exactly the same with the sequel. I LOVE that with this game there's the option to play Emily or Corvo, and the new addition to the powers that come with Outsider's mark, with Emily. The graphics and design of the entire game are phenomenal, and I CANNOT WAIT for the third... I'd carry on playing Dishonored no matter how many releases they do, could be Dishonored 29 and I'd still play.

If you're a fan of the first game, you'll enjoy this. Gameplay is pretty much the same, the usual stealth gameplay and magical progression.I don't have the patience these days to be a completionist but there's plenty to collect, 2 characters to play and 2 ending to unlock (dependant on gameplay choices) if you can be bothered.The only complaint is the usual Bethesda bugs: enemies seeing you behind obstacles or randomly exclaiming "what, a dead body!?" when there's nothing in sight.The actual campaign is also quite short but quality is always preferable to quality!

It's really hard to review a game like Dishonored 2If you didn't care for the first game this isn't going to be your thingI put 6 hrs into it so far (not trying to speed my way through it)Story: This is where the game lost me a little (No matter how you played the original game it doesn't link up with this game)The Original game has different endingsThe story is very interesting if you were invested in the first titleSo far most of it makes senseGameplay: This is where this game gets diceyIt's a FP Stealth game but, they will give you guns, arrows, and various bombsBut, If you are to extreme and kill to many (The Chaos is High)I forgot this silly manic balancing act made me dislike parts of the Original DishonoredThe game isn't balancedAlso the chaos meter is never explained to the player (Maybe i blinked and missed it)I played the first Chapter (Escaping the castle to the Ship) on low ChaosMaybe killed two guards mostly by accident, didn't kill any innocent bystandersMeet with the Outsider then took a row boat to a new region(Which starts Chapter 2) as soon as i get off the boat I'm in High Chaos!How does that makes any sense? I never was in high chaos in the first chapterAlso you can play the game as Corvo or his daughter EmilyThis should add playability to the gameYou can also pass on getting any Supernatural powers from The OutsiderLike a smock i didn't take the powers when they were offered to meI hope there is a pay off or at least a point why you can pass getting themThis to could add more play ability to the over all narrativeControls: Are solid once you get the hang of how you playIt seems as though you move much quicker in this game(I could be wrong haven't played the Original in a while)It's not as easy and pick up and play as a BioshockIt's more like Thief (Re-make) the learning curve isn't bad maybe 15-20min. and you'll be good to goGraphics: Solid the strange Half life/Team fortress art style returnsWhich isn't a bad thing...... With all the same cookie cutter FPS trying to go the ultra realistic route this is very unique and refreshingIt's a stunning looking FPS But, the art style might also turn off certain peopleSound/V.O Cast: the sound is once again close to perfectthe background score fits in this world (Much like the original)everything has it's own soundThe only returning v/o cast member isApril Stewart (Empress Jessamine Kaldwin-Corvo's Heart/Emily's Heart)everyone else is all new which is a shameErica Luttrell (Empress Emily Kaldwin) plays the grown up Emily it would've been nice to get Chloë Moretz to return But, I understand she has blown-up since the original game was in productionNone the less Erica does a bang-up job she has the right voice and her performance is very goodThe way she reads her lines reminds me of the actress that did Elizabeth's voice in BioShock InfiniteIt's a close to perfect performance so far!Robin Lord Taylor is the new voice of The Outsider (Which is very cool)Stephen Russell (Corvo Attano)Rosario Dawson (Captain Meagan Foster) Which makes sense since Rosario has a great voice for doing v/o workVincent D'Onofrio (Duke Luca Abele)Sam Rockwell (Mortimer Ramsey)Pedro Pascal (Paolo) Really underrated actor it's very cool he got this gigJamie Hector (Vice Overseer Liam Byrne)Once again you have a laundry list of heavy Hollywood hitters doing v/o on a video game!The only real negative is the manic balancing actThe game itself "claims" you can play it your wayBut, that isn't true since any negative actions are held against youWhy even have a Low/High Chaos meterIf you can play it your way?It's very much like the first couple of Dead Rising games where the clock is stacked against youThis in no way effects the overall game But, it hinder it from being a perfect story drive epic adventureThe game is epic and ambitious But, it's also very manic it's not sure what it wants to beIn a way it falls in it's own trapIs it the same cookie cutter FPS??? or a rare first person stealth game 9/10MS Gamertag: Duckman 1979

Great game. Although it is not the limited edition as the title states, it is the standard version.
