Stayed On In A Crash/ Easy To Use
These clips have been by far one of the best pieces of riding gear I have found and I have them on every helmet I own. The large single button is extremely easy to operate and requires very little time to get used to, while never jamming or going in crooked in my three years of consistent use. In hotter climates where temperatures climb past 100F, it's a great relief to be able to rip your helmet off within 2 seconds of parking rather than fumbling with the D ring system. If you're riding in cold weather with bulky insulated gloves and glove liners, this clip is still stupidly easy to put on and take off. I usually take my helmet off before taking off my gloves. Every once in a while I ride off forgetting to clip my helmet but can quickly clip it while riding with minimal time off the controls. One issue I did have with this was the strap working itself loose and requiring adjustment every 3-4 weeks. This problem was solved by simply using a safety pin to secure the loose end of the strap to the main strap. If durability is your concern, I have high-sided off my bike at roughly 30 mph and the clip/straps stayed securely in place. However, I realize some people just have a hard time trusting plastic. Here's how I look at it- with the clip being under your chin, it's protected from any direct impacts which would break the plastic. If there is an upward force on your helmet strong enough to break the clip, well you'd probably be better off with the helmet releasing at that point anyway. Just my opinion.

Seems to Work Fine
PowerMadd PM 81060 Speed Motorcycle Clip was received quickly, as advertised. This clip cost more than the Echo Quick Release and I would rather have a metal clip but so many buyers of the Echo said that clip tended to get stuck and was difficult to engage, I bought the PowerMadd. The plastic clip does not feel substantial but will probably work fine. The PowerMadd was difficult to install. I had a very tough time inserting the DRing clip between the strap loop and the DRings due to the tight fit. Cutting the DRings off would have made it easy but that was not a solution I wanted. After a lot of pushing, pulling, needle-nose pliers and WD-40, I got it on. After inserting it through the loop, the prongs on the DRing clip would not engage the release clip. It would fall out. I streached the prongs wider and that seemed to solve the disengagement problem. Another buyer review listed the same problem. There is an included clip for an alternate method of attachment, around the DRings, but that is not an optimal attachment and I did not like the way it felt wearing the helmet. The Clip feels pretty secure and is comfortable. I can press the release button and get the helmet off fairly easily even when wearing riding gloves. I would probably not purchase any quick release again since I now have a very small doubt about how the plastic prongs, I had to streach out, will perform over time and in a crash.

Yay!
I finally don't have to thread my chin strap! The good news is that this is comfortable when installed and seems well-made. Bottom line: would I buy another? Yes...well, no, I'm buying two more!Cons: Installation. Do you see that little piece on the left? It is good, but nothing is said about it in the instructions. Run the strap through BOTH sides, install the male piece, adjust length, then force the strap end under center part and it is clean. The biggest issue was getting the strap through the male end (with teeth). If your strap isn't thin, you'll need needle-nose pliers and some strength. I trimmed my end and singed it. Then I got a bit through and grunted it through. In the end, I'm very happy with it. It seems secure, just be prepared to wrestle a bit. Otherwise it would be 5 stars.

Works easily with gloves on. First lasted 1 year 2nd 1 month
Great clip, hasn't slipped, and very easy to connect or disconnect. Was a little difficult to install. Had to cut off a snap on my helmet strap, and melt the end of the strap to keep it from fraying. This made it very difficult to get through the loops on the clip which have teeth on one side to limit slippage. But now that it is installed I am very happy with it.Update: My first clip broke after about one year. My replacement did not last a month before breaking exactly the same way.Much as I liked this clip, it IS NOT SAFE, and SHOULD NOT BE USED.

The best quick release
I ordered two of these, one for my Italian AGV full face helmet and one for my wifes Shoei also a full face and upon receiving, i installed them and these are the absolute best quick release clips i have ever used, in fact i just ordered two more for our half shells..........If you want a great speed clip this is the one, you do have to remove any snaps on the strap, but the "D" ring side there is a nice universal clip, as i see it it will fit any kind of helmet.........a must have for ease of use even with gloves on....AAAAA+++++

Great idea BUT
Clip works well but as warned by other reviews I did have to cut my chin strap to get part of it attached and was afraid I would have to cut the D rings off also. It was difficult getting that portion of the clip attached as well. I have a different style quick clip on another helmet and I think I'll just get used to that style instead of this one. Much harder to fasten and unfastened but much easier than the day rings and that style allows me to leave the straps intact

Love it
This is a must have product if you have a helmet. I am shocked that helmet manufacturers don't use something like this in their helmet designs. Maybe it's a DOT or SNELL approval thing I don't know but this tiny clip makes putting on and taking off helmets as easy as starting your bike. The main reason I bought this is to be able to fasten or unfasten the straps with gloves on which is normally very difficult to do. This clip makes it very easy to do just that. 100% recommended.

I've now put these on two helmets.
Pros:Easy to install. Easy to fasten and unfasten with gloves on. Can not be forced open with reasonable force. Has never unwantedly come unfastened. Has never pinched me. Easy to remove if need be.Cons:If your helmet strap has a snap on it (to secure the loose end) then you'll need to remove it somehow.Hard to know how well the plastic components (of which the Speed Clip is entirely comprised) will hold up to crash conditions.
