Great for vet visits!
These are perfect for vet visits. My avian vet really liked being able to observe my birds through the sides and that saved extra handling that makes them nervous. Side unzips for easier access also. I purchased a second one so that next time I can take them separated as each time one is removed, the other gets all stressed out.

Worked fine for trip to the vet.
We purchased this when our bird needed to go to the veterinarian. My husband brought him there, and he did not realize I’d put a little medicine cup of water on the floor of the carrier. It did not spill during transport. As expected, my parakeet was a little dismayed, at first to be put in that, but soon settled down and was calm when brought back home. It was definitely roomy enough for one parakeet and you could easily put two in there. I would recommend this product.

Good for short trips
I haven’t had my bird for long. He had developed a virous. Luckily I had really great advise in what to do. It got us to thinking we have nothing to get him to and from places like vet. This is good size for the price and reason we bought one. Since it s foldable easy to put away. Doesn’t take up space. Clear windows makes it easy for us both to see each other. Easy to put together and take apart.

Has a chemical smell
This the 2nd carrier I've gotten and it still has a chemical smell, but not as bad as the first one. I'm going to air it out for a while and I hope that helps.

My parakeet liked it.
I had to take my parakeet to a vet. He was fine with riding in this thing and wasn't afraid like he is putting him in a box. I put a mirror on the bottom which he liked. It is easy to get the bird in and out of it.

No hassle carry for my parrotlet. The bird seems happy to be inside of this carrier. I would definitely recommend this over a cage to transport your pet.
