Kikkerland Stoneware Thermographic Ink Pixel Heart Morphing Mug, White

The mug is very cool! The base design is very basic and works really well for everyday use, but the pixel heart is definitely the selling point. While it is a little unfortunate that it can only be hand-washed, it is a very small price to pay for this awesome mug. The heart is very cool and watching it fill and empty as you get through your day is really neat. If you consider getting it I definitely recoomend it as it is an awesome addition to any cupboard, big or small!

Great fun! A friend brought me one of these from the USA and I liked it so much I bought it for 3 different friends. The picture appears really quickly when you pour hot water into it and is quite amazing. We then left it to cool and watched as the wood slowly faded into darkness as night fell...

Great mug, missing a trick as there is no graphic on the other side, Kikkerland should do this in a bigger size, bought one for myself and sent a couple as gifts for Valentine’s Day.

i got the mug on time before christmas. its become my party trick on campus loli heart that the heat stickers wash off if exposed to water so i been careful to wash around or dab the heat pad if i have to.but it's really fun, it never gets old and you should buy it.... now!

bought as Valentine's day gift for my girlfriend, and it works well, following advice from customers reviews 'not to wash in dishwasher'. So far so good. very happy with the product x

I was excited to find the mug changed colour (completely missed it when ordering), and packaged nicely with a friendly message I was happy to write a positive review. However the second after I filled it with boiling water it cracked and all my tea went spilling everywhere. I am very disappointed and I really wanted to gode some good feedback, but I expect a mug to be able to hold boiling water.

I wasn't planning on writing a review, but then I realized that this mug would have been pretty useless had I bought it for my brother (I didn't though)! I don't know if it's explicitely mentioned anywhere, but the heart is only on one side. If you're left-handed, it'll always be facing away from you, so you'd have to awkwardly rotate the mug every time you put it back down.Other than that it seems to be working pretty well. The red colour isn't as bright as on the photos, but it's still a full red colour. You do see the three pixels at the bottom being slightly off-colour, but it's not very noticeable. It changes relatively quickly (30 seconds tops), and the heart even indicates how much of your drink you have left (it follows the level with a 30 second delay).I've only had it for two days so I can't comment on durability. Don't make the mistake of putting it in the dishwasher, washing it too roughly (don't use the rough side of your sponge) or letting it soak. It clearly warns on the package that any of these things will make it lose its thermochromic abilities.Overall I'm happy with this mug (I'm right-handed though), and I'll be using it for a long time.

We tested it and it does work with the microwave (it also didn't seem to damage it)But we're now a tad scared to use it too much, since the box says not to put it in it.It's a lovely mug though.

Es ist ein ein wenig verspieltes Trinvergnügen, macht quasi einen zusätzlichen Augenschmaus. Es ist eine Freude zu schaun, wenn die tristen schwarzen Kreise zum bunten Blumenvergnügen erweckt werden.Auch eine nette Geschenkidee.
