Vitamin C serum for face and neck with a fancy looking pump
This product is made in France. It contains natural glacier water form the Alps, stabilized vitamin C, lemon extract, hyaluronic acid, vitamin A and E. This product also contains peanut and castor oil. Product definitely has fragrance. If there is a problem with this product, to me personally I was packaging. Serum and vitamin C are separated. The intention is to dispense a small amount of vitamin c with the serum (probably hyaluronic acid by using the pump on the top. But pump was sealed so hard, it was difficult to remove it. I accidentally separated a part of the contained that included serum so I lost some of the valuable serum before I could even use it.Product also has a card inside that contains the website access www.alpcare.fr/serum. Once can learn more about the brand and how to actually open the product (not that it is going to be easy to push that side plastic off the pump. What is annoying is that the only way to see the information and access the site is by providing an email address. I found that a little bit off putting. All in all, product in itself is great. Packaging idea is small, but in practicality does not work so well.

Hard to use, includes artificial fragrances adn dyes.
This product is a little bit confusing to use at first. It doesn’t come with clear instructions nor are instructions listed on the product page. For a product that is not obvious on how to use, I think very clear and specific instructions need to be in the box, otherwise users will just get frustrated with the product. The product does contain a link to a video but why not list out clear steps in the box as well?Once you get the product working, it has a light fragrance. I typically prefer fragrance free for any facial products so I do wish this did not have added fragrance. Also artificial fragrances are also not ideal for sensitive skin like mine. The ingredient list also lists artificial dyes as well. That is totally not needed in a product you apply to your face, which is almost instantly absorbed into your body. While this product does absorb nicely, because of the frustration with packaging and the fact that it includes artificial fragrance and dyes, I cannot continue using it.

Great serum but a process to get it out of the bottle.
This Vitamin C serum is awesome! It made my face soft and my complexion radiant. It has a light, fresh smell going on. I put it on after toning, but before my nightly moisturizer and that seemed to be the right choice. It seemed to take some of the redness out of my complexion and brighten my skin. I'm giving it 5 stars because of the serum's results. However, I feel like the manufacturer WAY overthought the packaging and directions, which I didn't like. You honestly need to go to their website to figure out how to even get the stuff out of the bottle. It is somehow not intuitive for a person who has been using skin care products for 20+ years to figure this out. The packaging does not give you any information on how to apply it, or when, and I said, if you have to follow several steps just to figure out how to get the stuff out, something is not right. So, I thought the packaging was an annoyance that wasn't necessary.

Not into it
I love trying new facial care products and this one looked really interesting. When I got it, it came in a bubble mailer and the box was crushed. When I opened it, it looked a little unusual. There was a little card in the package that gave you a website to go to to learn how to use it. I've never had to put that much effort into using a serum. Upon following the directions, I finally got it to disperse the serum. I thought this was a gimmicky way to sell a serum whether it makes it fresh or or not. While I did like the feel of the serum, I didn't like some of the ingredients. I hate parfum and dyes. It's clear, why is there red and yellow dye in it? Can't we rely on the lemon oil etc. as a nice light fragrance instead of synthetic parfums? Overall this feels like any other serum but otherwise it doesn't feel different than any other serum product I've used and it won't last long, 10-20 days depending on how often you use it.

The packaging is a pain and negates the product as it is inconvenient and the product left skin feeling sticky
While I like the effort at trying to be different that this brand brings to their packaging, it is a miss sadly. This is vitamin C and while I like the formula the delivery is awful. I opened the box to find a plastic card telling me to go online to find out how to break into the syringe looking applicator and even after reading the instructions it took several attempts to remove the plastic ring and break the tip off as instructed.I dispensed the serum and applied it but it felt a bit sticky and I need moisturizer on top of it to quench my skin. Using the serum for the second time I plunged a dose and shook the syringe and then squirted it on my hand and applied. I only got approximately 10 uses from this product and I would not recommend buying it unless they change the packaging.

Fragrance is a bit stronger than I like (and my struggle with removing the cap)
The serum is very lightweight and I like that but the fragrance is stronger than I prefer for a facial product, However I am applying it above my upper lip, right under my nose, which could intensify the fragrance. But I was hoping it would dissipate after application but not so far.But I also wanted to comment on opening the tube in case anyone else had problems.Getting the actual cap off was not that easy for me. I finally had to take a knife around the bottom edge before I could get the cap to pull off and now the cap does not provide a good seal when closing. The instructions on the web site simply say to move the cap back and forth to break the seal but it did not work for me.
