A Mars colony in the 1970s?
Mostly about the controversial 'Alternative 3' TV program of the '70s, which became an equally controversial book. The theme of the TV program was that the Americans were developing a secret space base on Mars, in the expectation of environmentsl catastrophe here on Earth. Seemingly totally unbelieveable than, these days the premise seems much more logical and prehaps the program's writers actually did stumble on some sort of plan to colonise Mars, whether or not it was ever put into practise.

Great Thesis, Very Good Selection of Supporting Facts!
I give 5 stars for concept originality. Yes there are a few typos, and I think Mr. Olav discovered this after the printing press, so he can revise the next batch of books accordingly. Now, for the concept. There are few books and authors for that matter that delve into the earth cycle ice ages and tie them to gov and NGO preparations to date. Most authors don't go the distance with the cause of massive buildup of preparatory actions clearly evident in the world today. Mr. Olav opens the thesis that the ice age cycle, even a mini ice age, will greatly disrupt food distribution and supplies, thereby ending the modern human existence. The author approaches the subject from a finite set of facts and sets the thesis based on those facts, which is the actual mark of a real researcher. The knowns connecting the dots and viewing the big picture. One area that the author should consider expanding if there will be a sequel, is that of psyops related to the coverup. I think there is a lot of telltale factos that would bolster the thesis. Finally, this book is a real eye opener for the laymen on this topic, and it segways into other relevant authors research such as Joseph P Farrell, Richard Dolan and Robert W Felix. A must read for those seeking truths on Geoengineering, Global Climate Change, Space Programs, and high level missing persons cases in the scientific community.

Loved the book
Enjoyed reading about the Breakaway Civilization - enticing, yet also very sinister; the book gives one chills wondering what is “really” happening in the world around us; we are so terribly busy living out lives within our own worlds that we easily lose sight of the “reality”. Loved it!!

Disappointing!
If you want to read about breakaway civilizations and secret Nazi programs, invest in Joseph Farrell's books. The typos in this book go beyond mere typos and into making the text sometimes impenetrable. But worse, as one reviewer said, the ideas are wildly varied and poorly stitched together. The concept of a book like this would be interesting if it was thought out more carefully. This is the kind of book you can buy at a sci fi convention with the mimeographed pages stapled together.

Alternative 3 and Secret Space Programs
This is a new book and is worth the read -- it corroborates what a lot of us have been thinkingand reading in the latest issues on Alternative 3, the Nazi UFOs, and an evaluation of whatGary McKinnon found when he hacked NASA in 2002 ... Solar Warden appears to be a reality after all.It is a short book but it is packed with issues geared to make a reader think more about Alternative 3and a probable Space Program begun in the 80's... and what that might mean for our future...That is to say -- Why do these two issues exist? Do we need to be getting ready for something?Read Phillips' book, evaluate the many drawings and pictures and decide for yourself..
