Manrose BVF100T Intervent Extractor Fan With Timer - 4 inch/100 mm

This extractor fan was an exact replacement for one we had almost nine years. Easy to fit if last that long we will be highly delighted. Works well and over runs after light turned off for a couple of minutes. Good quality, quiet running and a good prce.

Received on time and as described. This was a like for like replacement for the same model, so I knew what to expect. The box does say it is an updated version and it is certainly quieter than the old model. You can set the duration of the fan run time via a thumb wheel on the circuit board, but there is no indication of how long it runs at that setting so you’ll need to play around to get the run time you need - I think the default setting is around 5 minutes. It was easy to assemble and the airflow is good.

Decent quality fan. Pretty quiet, timer functions well enough and easy to fit. Loses a star because the casing doesn't seal up very well even though the wires are nice and snug inside. Hopefully it holds up in the shower room.

This was thought to replace my bathroom fan that kept stopping intermittently and had began to hum on a low speed. At first I was going to return as the builders had not left enough cable for me to install this one but then I found you could take out the motherboard and flip it around to have wires on the other side so once that was done no issues and I was able to hook it up to the existing wiring. Works perfectly but the only thing I would say is it needs some sort of mesh to stop small insects as it’s completely open.

Direct replacement for the fan that was installed in our loft around 7 years ago, it was always a bit noisy but only started vibrating and finally stopped working this year. The noise (slight hum) originally was from the face cover locking screw being loose (this is a hook and screw arrangement to hold fan cover to the base).The (very low quality) screw head was mashed didn't hold the cover tightly enough . The fan failure was quite a bit louder. To save time, I got this exact replacement, it was cheap and the control panel was slightly different but exactly the same in operation, with thumbwheels for timer setting etc. Isn't the most hardworking fan (i.e. wont keep up with a steaming shower) but works well enough with a 2 minute delay on shut down. I was surprised how brittle the fan blades on the old Manrose had become but this was a cheap and easy repair, so no issues if I have to replace this new one in a few years.

Exact same model as I already had installed so super easy to fit. Is actually really quiet and not as loud as before
