Vent-Axia Silhouette 100HT Extractor Fan with Timer/Humidistat. Model No. 454057B, 14 W, 24 V

My second Ventaxia Silhouette fan, the previous one still working perfectly after 7 years.Installer should be aware that the fans are set to work at a certain level of humidity and increasing/decreasing the sensitivity control will do just that and not activate at a higher or lower humidity.

I bought this humidistat extractor fan to replace another one which was six years old and whose humidity sensor had become temperamental. It was easy enough to remove the old fan and install the new one in its place as they're exactly the same size (didn't even have to drill new holes in the ceiling). However, the new fan doesn't work. I've had the shower on full blast a couple of times and the humidistat isn't triggered and the blue LED isn't lit. I would return it, but I bought it three months ago and the return window has expired.

Quiet fan. Simple to connect up and get running. The fan has a humidity sensor, this means you can only adjust the humidity level and not time. The fan remains on for a fixed 15 mins and switching lights off.

Complete rubbish. The sensor doesn't work at all. I spent 3 days adjusting it and it either just stayed on for hours or never came on at all. Don't buy this!
