I started using this seat cushion in my truck because my lower back would ache after long drives. The wedge shape lifts me just enough to see better over the hood, and it feels more supportive under my legs. The memory foam is firm when I first sit down, but it softens up a little as it warms, which makes it more comfortable on longer trips. On my commute, I’ve noticed less stiffness when I get out, and the pressure on my tailbone feels reduced. The cover has a mesh texture that keeps it from getting too warm, even in the afternoon sun. I also like that it doesn’t slide around when I’m getting in or out of the seat. I tried moving it to my office chair one day, and it worked just as well there. The height boost takes a little getting used to, but now it feels odd driving without it.

I rarely leave reviews, but I am compelled to do so in this case. My Subaru Crosstrek for some reason has seats where your butt sits kind of low and goes higher towards the front of the seat. So your thighs get a decent amount of pressure. I’ve started developing foot pain in the last six months or so and my doctor says I have plantar fasciitis. I personally suspect since I drive a lot that my seating position isn’t the best and that my lower extremities are not getting the circulation that they need. I’ve only had this cushion for two days so I’ll see how it goes, but I do appreciate sitting higher with thighs more parallel with the ground. I do have a longer legs so that might have something to do with it too. I’ve tried a few different cushions and this one did the trick I wish it was a little less wide so it would fit perfectly but at this point I’m happy to have something that relieves the tension on my thighs.

There are no yellow lines on the product. The picture is a bit confused. When I set it, my view is great and I don’t feel like I m sinking in the seat. But I thought a little harder than expected. It’s a solid cushion.

After several attempts, I finally found a seat cushion that is comfortable! Most cushions aren't tapered, and they cut off circulation in your legs at the front end of the cushion. The wedge shape of this one prevents that. I find it the perfect amount of lift for my short torso!

Thinner than I expected. I thought it would be more cushiony but it’s thin. It doesn’t really do what it says it does; didn’t help with the sciatic issue

Purchased this cushion to use in my 2017 F-150 Ford truck (manual seat). The drivers seat springs seam to have become slightly weaker at the rear causing me to sit a little lower than I would like. Tried another full size seat cushion, but it raised me too high for driving comfort. This smaller wedge shaped cushion is absolutely perfect, and puts me at exactly the elevation I find works best. I didn’t realize a passenger car seat could cause sciatica. This weird little wedge solved my pain problem.

My commute to work is 45 minutes each way and I have tried half a dozen or more different seat pads that are supposed to help prevent sciatica flare up. This one is a keeper. Most were too soft, they focused on ‘comfort’ but with lower back issues- soft is the wrong way to think about the problem. I’ve tried one other wedge design but it was too soft… if this wedge design didn’t work, I was going to just order those beaded seat covers cabbies had in their cab cars back in the eighties. I zeroed in on the wedge design because all of the other seat pad designs tried to replace the whole seat, which would raise my legs up too high. And the edges would start to cut into my thighs after about 15-20 minutes (I’m short, if you’re over 5’4” this probably isn’t something you would notice). Thankfully, with the minimalist design of this particular wedge seat pad I will remain in the 21st century aesthetic. The beveled edges of the pad fit seamlessly against the seat material and the wedge fits perfectly into that annoying gap in the supposedly comfortable bucket seat of my truck. It is soft material but stiff enough to provide support. And raises my backside up just enough to actually use the lumbar support of the seat designed and manufactured for taller people. Of course the sciatica problem is still there lurking, but this simply designed, and almost invisible addition to the seat is keeping it at bay for now. Oh, and the grip material on the bottom of the seat pad work perfectly. I don’t have to readjust it after getting in and out of the vehicle!
