Hi, the breeder I’m due to get my springer pup from has told me to stick to either lamb or salmon flavoured and avoid the chicken. Any issues?

I would recommend the chicken, it is what I gave to my puppy parents, but I would advise you stick to the food the breeder has weaned the puppies on for a month before you change it. We kept one of our puppies, labrador, and used chicken and the salmon just to give him a little variety in flavour for him from 6 months. Good luck with the new pup.
