Because they are rubber, you have to push from the bottom of the tray so the cube pops out. That's easier to do when the cubes are not all the way filled. The old side to side twist crack that worked on the plastic trays isn't going to cut it with these. But I bought these because I wanted covered ice trays so I'm mostly satisfied.

I will use as ice trays in my freezer but you must let them air out because there is really a terrible smell but I didlet them set out and so far the odor has dissipated, I will let them stay out more to make sure the odor is completely gone I like them cause they got a top to go on them before they go in freezer, Ill see how it goes!Thank you

Exactly what I need. The trays are flexible so can be bent easily to loosen the cubes. There's no hard surface to enable the cubes to pop-out all at once into the ice bin. It's super easy to just push the cubes out from the bottom of the tray with your fingers. The cubes are dimensionally similar to the regular size rectangle only square (not significantly larger or smaller). It takes just a couple more of them to fill up the 24 oz glass.

These work great, just remember to hold them from the bottom if filled with liquids. The first time I picked it up by the sides, the top came off and spilled all over me.

Nice concept. I like the lids Incase my mother-in-law with dementia tries to pull the trays out of the freezer. The cubes are hard to remove from the trays. I bend it backwards and each cube still has to be pressed out individually. Takes too long and ends up hurting my fingers.

My sister uses a lot of ice (she likes chewing it) in her sports bottle, and she was admiring how nicely cubical this ice turns out. I think it fits better in the bottle as well, and the trays overall are not as haphazardly-sliding, nor as mis-matched as the old trays.

These make good ice cubes but the cover does not fit tight so the liquid leaks out if they aren’t perfectly flat. They are very bendable so again need to be completely flat in the freezer.

These are great ice cube trays. So easy to remove individual cubes as needed. I've owned a lot of Ice trays over my live and these are the best ever!
