Lots of uses
I originally bought them for a shelf (to fix to tiles) and they were fine for that. Since then there have been many other situations where I wanted a thin and strong fixing for which they are ideal. They can be cut to size - my latest use is for cable clips whose own adhesive was not strong enough.

Adhesive not strong
Unfortunately the adhesive lasted 1 day for a lightweight plastic single soap bar holder. Surfaces were prepped properly yet I’ve tried 3 pieces and all have fallen within a day.
