I bought these to store my wheels when alternating between summer and winter wheels. This means I can clean the wheels when removing a set and keep them clean and ready to fit when the seasons change. The are quite large, feel well made and comfortably fit 20" F-Pace wheels with tyres. I also like that they fit in seconds. I also bought a spare cover to keep in the car in case I ever get a flat tyre and need to put a dirty wheel in the car when fitting the spare.

As expected and easily adjusted to fit wheel with velcro

Wrapped an 18" tyre in it 255/60/18 and it was an easy fit. Well made and designed, basically roll around tyre and then fix with velcro. Alloy wheel and tyre weigh quite a bit and the handle seems to cope with that weight ok, time will tell. Overall just what I wanted and pleased with it

Does a good job of keeping the boot clean. I sometimes carry a spare run flat on a wheel, usually when we tour abroad with the caravan just to save any hold ups in the event of a flat.

Really well made cover. One size does fit all; I have them for 21" 295's, 19" 285's and 19" 255's. No issue across the sizes. They also look great.

Die Michelin Reifentaschen sind im Vergleich zu denen von anderen Herstellern auffällig teuer: Zum Preis einer Tasche gibt es bei anderen gleich ein ganzes Set (also 4 Stück). Der Grund, warum ich trotzdem zu diesen Taschen gegriffen und es nicht bereut habe: Günstigere Sets sind weit weniger haltbar. Ich hatte vorher ein Set in der schon etwas gehobenen Preisklasse (zwischen 30 und 40 Euro), welches sich "Premium" nannte. Bei diesem Set gaben aber die Plastikverschlüsse nach gut einem Jahr (also vor dem dritten Reifenwechsel) auf. Sie gingen einfach nicht mehr auf, was sehr ärgerlich war! Außerdem war die Art und Weise, wie man die Taschen verschloss (breites Nylonband) recht umständlich. Die Michelin-Taschen haben weder Plastikverschlüsse noch Nylonband zum festzurren. Die Reifen werden einfach eingewickelt und die Taschen mit Klettverschluss geschlossen. Das funktioniert erstaunlich gut und hält tatsächlich! Die Verarbeitungsqualität hier ist super: Alles wirkt stabil, gut vernäht und haltbar. Sogar der Griff macht einen vertrauenserweckenden Eindruck und hält was aus. Dadurch, dass ein bzw zwei Gummibänder an den Taschen sind, zieht man die Taschen quasi wie ein Kondom (ja, seltsamer Vergleich) über den Reifen. Die Reifen sind also blitzschnell ein- und ausgepackt. Fazit: Teuer, aber super Qualität und Funktionalität. Da es sich nicht um ein Set, sondern Einzeltaschen handelt, sind auch keine Symbole aufgedruckt, um welchen Reifen am Auto (VL, HL, etc) es sich handelt. Aber das kann man ja auch anders lösen...
