It brighten up the truck

I have a 1999 Rialta RV that I am trying to replace all the interior lights with LEDs. The overhead map light in the cab was a bit tricky to find. I had tried bulbs that said they were compatible with a Eurovan (which is what the cab portion of the Rialta is) and none of them fit. This one does.

If you ended up here after or before trying the Sylvania Zevo 578, read on. The Zevo is a frosted tube and it isn't possible to see how the LEDs are situated. If this is going in an interior as an overhead bulb; it pays to have the LED facing downward, especially in a non-reflective housing. As a result it's very dim and not very useful. This one on the other hand does not look like the picture, I received a clear tube with a single led centered in the bulb. Half the bulb is the led and on the "back" is heatsink. I was wary of the single led but it's more than enough and more importantly, easy to aim for best results. I actually have the Zevo 194s in the rest of the interior and this matches perfectly. So if you're like me and don't want cheap junk LEDs in your vehicle and want a trusted brand, just get the Phillips.

Very bright white visible light. Just as bright as the osram 3 led type.

Fits and works in a 2014 Toyota Sequoia cargo light and I would guess therefore it also probably works in a lot of other Toyota and Lexus cargo areas. It did take some fiddling to get it seated just right so that the contacts activate the LED but once its in seems seated well. Fairly bright without being obnoxious. Looks much better than the 10 year old yellow bulb

I was concerned that these would be a little blue because of to 6000K rating. They are not blue at all. I would say they are 5000K. They don’t dim very well, and like all LEDs they can have issues with certain vehicles that can’t tel they are on because they don’t draw as many Amos as the originals. But these are the best. Phillips does not disappoint me.

Put this in an older mercedes as the inside cabin light. Works and fits perfectly. Good packaging solid bulb.

Received an already opened and old stock item But independent of that, it is definitely a good brand and quality product I had used in the past and worth it.
