Easy to change and it came with all the hardware seals and nuts needed to install.

After installing this product from a product I ordered that leaked from the tea probe, this is well made product.

I have a Master spa tub that I let the PH get way too low over the winter and was tripping the breaker constantly this spring as a result. Changed this out in about 30 minutes and have not had an issue yet. It has been in about 2 months so far. For those that are going to do this repair, I recommend getting a pair of oil filter removal pliers for the PVC couplings - made the job much easier.

It leaked from both terminals. And yes I used a wrench to hold the bottom nut. It looked like there was no rubber seal on the inside. Product is defective or someone doesn't no how to assemble it right from the factory.

So far heater is working (installed yesterday 09/08/2024), but I had to use my old Balboa 58108 sensors.The sensors that came with the new assembly were causing a bunch of issues including my pump constant end-less pulsing (like the sensor detecting a false-positive air-lock) and a heater temperature calibration error. I ended up reusing the old sensors and everything is working so far - water is heating.IMPORTANT: I noticed that one of the sensors black/red wires were reversed. I took photos of the new sensors showing how one has the wires incorrect, and the old working sensors. Can someone comment on this? Maybe the company should send me new sensors!

perfect fit. Original was a Balboa 58104 4.0 Kw 800 15in 2x2 M7 S. Only issue was the wire colors are reversed on the snesor connectors which caused a little confusion but the colors don't matter on them. i tried to replace the heating element only a few months ago and must have caused some damage because it leaked at one of the terminals so i went ahead and replaced the entire unit this time.

Everything matched, wiring easy, quick and clean. Boxed up well. Instructions clear and easy to read.
