A perfect read for cat lovers!
What more can a cat lover ask for! A cozy mystery involving cats as detectives! it doesn't end here! The whole town is full of cats. The famous mystery writer is called Agatha Crispy! And some of her masterpieces include Deat Cat's Folly, Three Blind Mice and many more! Tilly and Hettie were absolutely adorable! The mystery was superb! Did I not mention that the story is a laughter riot?!! Highly recommended!

A supernatural adventure for Hettie and Tilly!
I'm a big fan of this series, and this particular novel is a fine example of the author's talents. Ms. Morton has invented a world where no humans exist, only cats. Pun filled and highly entertaining, the story centers on previously introduced characters and brings in new cats.New readers may be surprised by the seriousness of the crimes Hettie and Tilly investigate. While the action is set in a cozy English village, the crimes are violent. Helped - or hindered? - by the local medium Irene Peggledrip, the two feline detectives have to solve a particularly odd crime.

Great cat mystery read which is also fun!
I am a great fan of the Number 2 Feline Detective Agency series and I always look forward to the adventures of Hettie and Tilly and wonder what they are going to be involved in next.l love cats, good writing, humour and especially puns, and mysteries so of course these books always hit the right spots for me. This latest book is had me smiling straight away at the lovely and amusing interactions between the well crafted cat characters which are created by Mandy Morton. The storyline is strong and very mysterious so I found myself not wanting to put the book down until I had finished. As well as the humour there is also sensitivity throughout and nice little pieces where the authorial voice comes through and is very much a part of some of her characters. I now look forward to the next adventures but in the meantime I will read this book again in case I missed any puns!

A fabulously cosy feline mystery
Thanks to Netgalley and Farrago for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.I was familiar with the No. 2 Detective Agency series and had been recommended it before receiving this book but his was my first experience meeting the characters. It took a little while to adjust my thinking to characters with paws but also cardigans but once I did this was a quirky little mystery which I found myself enjoying so much that i read it in one sittingl! The characters are charming, for the most part (Lavender Stamp, I'm looking at you!) and I found it easy to keep up with them, despite not having read the prior books. There are puns, eccentrically named characters and plenty of twists and turns throughout, some of which I'm not certain were needed to further the plot but they were fun additions, and made me read on. I'll definitely be delving into the previous books of this series, although Beyond the Gravy works perfectly well as a stand alone.

Cats are clever.
I love this series and this so far has been one of the best, spooky goings on and a psychic who reads gravy all the usual cast are there with a couple of quirky new ones. The story flows well and I won't give anything away but it is a book which is so worth a try if you haven't read any of the no. 2 detective agency before.

Ideal for the lockdown blues.
I had totally not expect to get into these odd little books, but they get you. They are comfortable, very funny in places, perfect for those lockdown moments. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
