I bought A pair of La-Z-Boy couches at an extreme discount because the original customer Backed out at the last minute and they were customized. After a few days I understood why the customer backed out because these are the most uncomfortable couches I’ve ever had. They have the upgraded memory foam seat cushions but There’s large gaps in between each of the cushions. They drove me crazy. For years I’ve been trying different things like yoga mats, mattress toppers, Memory, latex, All things that helped improve the comfort. I finally bit the bullet and decided I was going to remove the seat cushions and buy something to replace it. When I took measurements, I realized I needed a slim or cot sized mattress to fit in the couch frame. Somehow I ended up finding and choosing this one. I was a little worried it wouldn’t fit lengthwise But hearing some of the reviews say that it ran small was actually a good thing for me. It came packaged With extreme care. The directions were a nice touch and made me smile. I took off the plastic and within 10 minutes I couldn’t wait anymore and put it right on my couch. To get the height right I did add bottom layer of yoga mat. Then a layer of foam (in the form of a 4 inch topper I bought on sale) and then this mattress. I then placed a twin sized cooling mattress topper and topped it all off with a fitted cooling sheet. Then I sat down to test it out. Within seconds I knew i finally did it. I was already more comfortable than I had ever been on the original sofa. It was firm like a seat cushion should be & I don’t feel like I was sliding off the end when my feet are on the floor. After I was satisfied it passed the sitting test I tried laying down on it. I ended up falling asleep and had the best sleep on a couch since I purchase those godforsaken couches. I normally wait to write reviews after I’ve used the product for more than a week. However with this mattress, I’m writing this review the day after I set it up. I am so pleased with this setup now. I would call this mattress firm. I was worried about the 5 inches not being enough but I didn’t see a thicker option so I figured I’d tinker with other layers I’d accumulated in the past. Turns out the 5” is more than sufficient and makes it lightweight so that one person can easily move it around. I didn’t smell anything off putting. This seems like a well made product, it inflated quickly, has a protective cover that I haven’t removed yet as per instructions. I am assuming they mean Do not remove the cover while your mattress is in the inflation process. Once it’s fully inflated you can unzip cover and put it in washing machine. I read the cover is resistant to moisture and there’s no crinkling sounds that bothered me. I’m an extremely hot natured person. I use a fan at all times and thermostat set to 69 degrees year-round. . I was worried this mattress would make me hot but that wasn’t an issue. That could be due to the mattress or due to the Cooling mattress cover and fitted sheet I used on top which is also meant to be cooling. TLDR : If you need to rehab a seat cushions on a full sized sofa, and the measurements work for your frame, this is an EXCELLENT option. Not only will sitting on your couch be comfortable, But sleeping on your couch will be wonderful as well. If anything changes I’ll be sure to update.

If you're accustomed to a 14" pillow top mattress in California King, this is unlikely to be your cup of tea. Even though I am a big guy, I find this to be a remarkably comfy set-up, because it almost exactly replicates by favorite berth on my sail boat. All I need to do is find some way to replicate the motion of the waves and the sound of the water lapping on the hull, and I'll always sleep like a newborn. Two of these fit comfortably in my tiny guest bedroom, on appropriate metal frames. If I have a couple visiting, they can be pushed together and form a queen-size. I use a pair of nylon straps around the legs so the beds don't push apart. These are remarkably comfy, and certainly good value. In their original packaging, they are also simple to maneuver into tight spaces, so you won't need a moving crew to set them up. Sheets can be a difficulty, as the size is uncommon, but can be obtained. The size also suggests itself as a good day bed/lounger with a few pillows. The width is close to a standard sofa, so they are comfortable to sit on sideways so long as your back is supported by a pillow.

I bought the cot mattress and it fits my camping cot perfectly! it's firm enough to give me a good night's sleep, without my hips hitting the canvas of my cot. it's light enough I can carry it by myself, and it also fits my sofa to replace a bad cushion if I choose. there was no real smell to it when I opened it. it took about a day to fully expand up. I feel like it's an excellent value for the quality. I've had it about 4 months now and no noticeable compression or wear. I love the soft cover.

Firm and comfy. I am 6' 220lbs. Sleeping on my side I wouldn't know this is 5 inches thick. It is as comfortable or better than any mattress I've tried at any thickness.

Does not fit bed frame at all!! Way smaller / thinner than bed frame they advertise it going with. Super squishy with zero support, doesn’t poof up hardly at all, doesn’t hold body up from frame at all… horrible!!! Unfortunately I had a super busy few months and missed the return window. This is more like a camping mattress. Better than sleeping on the floor, but NOT sufficient to put on a bed frame. I’m super sad.

I bought this mattress specifically for my son’s new bunkbed. However, it is way too small. It is short and thin. There are gaps. We had to get a new mattress and it is significantly bigger than this one. The mattress itself felt comfortable though. Not for an adult, but for a child it is fine.

I loved this product so much that I bought 2 more. Quality and Price is what brought me back to Zinus. I looked all over Amazon and the internet and Zinus had the best price for the same thing. At $62.65 USD at the time of my purchase, I got a great deal. If this seller in my opinion keeps their price the same they will get the most sales over anyone. It's a win win for them and us. We are using them for our cots for family when they come to visit and for our motorhome. We took out the old couch and are repurposing the frame which fastens to the floor as it was. And making it a platform couch / bed using the big pillows from the couch as the backing when it's used as a couch. This will be more practical for us when we have to sleep at a rest stop over night adding more comfort and ease then having to deal with the original couch with big arms and no room to pull out the bed. The description was right on, except the width is 31" and not 35" but better for us while still leaving plenty of room and adding great comfort. I’m really impressed with this mattress. Low cost - high comfort. I got it to replace a very old and shabby mattress in a used sofa bed. The mattress was an odd sized that was hard to match. This one fit perfectly in the frame. It took about 48 hours to fully expand. Odorless and comfy. I’m very happy with my purchase.
