This is a very sturdy play pen. I was immediately overwhelmed though with all the parts I had to put together to construct the pen. You have the side rails, and the t connectors (as i call them) that go on the bottom, and the netting.  It's just too much.  I want something that easily folds up and down and something that  can be put away and pulled back out. This is too much work.  However,  if you game a space where you are leaving the play pen,  then it will be just fine. It does come with a pull up "pulley" for a kid to hold to stand up.  It also has suction cups on the bottom so that the pen doesn't slide around. That's good for safety.
