Modern looking rice cooker
This is a very nice addition to my kitchen replacing my old rice cooker that was starting to break down after many years of usage. It's very easy to use with just one button to cook the rice. When the rice is done cooking, it automatically switches to warm mode to keep the rice warm. The rice cooker is meant for personal use or for small sized families as it can only cook up to 4 cups of rice. I would recommend when the rice is done cooking, you can open the rice cooker and stir the rice around so that the rice will be completely cooked and warm on all sides. I added a picture to show the size difference from my old rice cooker.

It has one job, and does it very well!
This rice cooker came very nicely packaged with the unit itself, a 1-cup measure, a flat plastic spoon and a very basic instruction booklet. The inner pot is nonstick coated and has marks on the side as to how much water to add with a specific amount of rise in the pot. It also has a small, clear condensation cup on the back for catching extra moisture. Usage is VERY simple with only one button to start the cooking cycle. Once the rice has been cooked it automatically shifts into warm mode and indicates that by the LED on the front. This rice cooker has one job... To cook rice. It does it's job VERY well! The rice we get out of it has been cooked absolutely perfectly and does so in a very reasonable amount of time. We've been using our pressure cooker to make rice for years, but the quality difference between that and this rice cooker is night and day.Highly recommended!

Green Light does not mean that it is done cooking the rice.
This rice cooker is very sleek, cute, and simplistic. However, functionality, I do have to question it a bit. I was just looking for a small rice cooker to use since I live by myself and don't eat a lot. I saw this rice cooker, and a Korean brand, so i figure it would be a good choice and it is affordable with ease of use. Unfortunately, It doesn't perform "great". It definitely does what it's supposed to, which is to cook rice. Just pull the lever down and it starts cooking, and when the lever light turns green, it's done cooking and in keep warm mode. That is unfortunately not the case.Every time I cook the rice, the moment it turns green, i would have to let it sit for an extra 15-30 minutes, undisturbed, for the rice to fluff up, otherwise, quite a bit of the grains will remain hard to semi-hard as they're not properly cooked through. I've tried this with the normal Jasmine Rice, the Japanese Koshihikari rice, calrose rice, korean brand rice etc, still the same thing happened. So my conclusion is I have to let the pot sit for an extra half an hour. At the same time, I'm not sure if the cooker is drawing out a lot of the moisture for that "optimal" rice doneness or something, but the textures of the rice are usually on the tougher side (not hard, but has a soft bite to the grain that feels very slightly rubbery texture). Some koshihikari rice often requires the rice to soak for about 30 minutes before cooking, but they still came out with that bite, instead of the sticky, chewy, but fluffy rice that I'm used to when i cooked using my parents' rice cooker. Same with jasmine rice, they don't fluff up well, and usually has a bite. I could add more water to the pot to let it soak through better, but most of the time, it came out still wet, with the top grains still hard and the bottom would be all mushy.Overall, it's not "bad", it's also not "great". If you just need some cooked rice to eat with a simple meal, this is good for a simple 1-2 persons home. For me, I like to my rice to be fluffy and well cooked, without needing to wait another half an hour to eat.
