This is a nice water bottle. Does not affect the taste of the water. The drinking spout is perfect for controlling the amount released; especially on a bumpy journey. It would be the best on the market if it was thermal but it isn’t, sadly. Water hits room temp quickly and condensation naturally forms if filled with iced water so not for in the backpack in that instant. Easy to carry with its little hooky thing. Aesthetically pleasing. I find the best way to clean the interior is with a teaspoon of bicarb and a glug of vinegar then top it up with water and leave for 10 minutes. Works every time. It arrived very quickly and was well packaged. If you don’t care about the temperature of your water this would be a good buy.

Super Trinkflasche mit dichtem Verschluss.Vor dem ersten trinken sollte man die Flasche definitiv erstmal vernünftig spülen, da ansonsten ein paar der Beschichtungspartikel im Wasser landen.Ab dem Punkt wo das Problem gelöst war, war ich komplett überzeugt. Auch nach 1-2 Tagen rumstehen wird der Inhalt nicht schlecht, bzw entwickelt keinen Geruch.Man merkt hier einen deutlichen Vorteil gegenüber Plastikflaschen. Gleiches gilt natürlich auch für die Temperaturen in der Flasche. Etwas Sonne ist hier sicherlich nicht so gravierend wie bei den Standard Trinkflaschen.

My child been using these, and a few other brands of water bottles for a while. The Ion8 has by far the best water bottle design for children. Kids have no trouble quickly opening and closing the lid correctly such that these bottles will never, ever leak! Even more impressive is that this leak-proof design has no hard-to-clean small parts, or silicon seals. These bottles stay clean and are also super easy to clean.The metal bottles are the best ones, they look great and last forever. We've found that the hard plastic bottles from this, and other brands, never seem to last more than 6 months of mild abuse before cracking, but with metal, cracking is not an issue. If banged around -- a child's backpack is a rough environment for water bottles! -- the shiny exterior can chip and the metal can ding but that's to be expected. This is for the 1.0 models, haven't tried the 2.0 yet. These are absolutely fantastic bottles for children (and grown-ups too).
