Great monitor and great customer service!
For some odd reason, I felt a need to add another monitor to my already crowded desk. I wanted something small and at the time found this 20โ monitor at a good price. With the Amazon return window closing in, I wanted to check it out in case it was defective or not what I wanted. I temporality hooked it up to a blue ray player to see if it worked. The screen came on and asked me to complete the setup. I fought with the monitor for a half an hour to get off a language screen and when I couldnโt, I started texting the Amazon help desk. After a half hour with Amazon, she suggested she would call the company representative and discuss over the phone. I promptly received the call from both and within five minutes realized the language screen was coming from the blue ray player, not the monitor. I should have seen this. Issued resolved and I thanked them both. Afterwards, I completed a survey stating I was very pleased with the service from both the Amazon and product representatives. Now in regards to the monitor itself, I was nervous about buying a monitor thru the mail. I have had several other purchases in the past damaged while in transit. The monitor arrived in its own box giving me doubts about its survivability. I found the outside of the box undamaged and upon opening, found the monitor well packed. Very impressive. The monitor had a stand that was easy to attach and could also be mounted to a wall. The video is very good and controls are easy to access on the back. The only shortcomings I felt was that I wished the stand could tilt and the volume could be a bit louder. Easily resolved with a cheap speaker attached and a piece of cardboard under the front of the stand. For $60 though, I canโt complain. Giving 5 stars for both the product and service!

Great value, picture, surprise it has audio. ALSO HAS VGA, nice for headless servers.....
For the price, this thing is awesome. Its great for using as a quick monitor to connect to a 'headless' server. It also has a VGA port, which these days is rare. Also great for using for old but still useful devices. Its small, lightweight, and the connectors are easy to access. Also have used this to configure a RetroPie when I was in a jam. The sound on this is also, pretty decent. I didnt even know it had sound, so thats a bonus.

Cheap 900p monitor that works fine and serves its purpose well
This is the least expensive monitor I could find on Amazon at the time I purchased that was this size. And it works great, so it deserves 4 stars. It's only 900p and requires a screwdriver to attach and detach the stand but that is fine for my purposes. And what are those purposes? Packing this in a suitcase or backpack to connect to a laptop while traveling as a second (extended) screen for office work productivity. 20" with a medium size bezel this thing is cheap, sturdy enough, light and compact enough to barely slide into my laptop backpack. So now I can take a second monitor on the road and know if the screen cracks, it is only like a hundred bucks and change. I tape cardboard rectangle to the screen to protect it. Compare to dedicated laptop portable monitors which are all 15.6" and cost 2X-4X as much, this feels like a bargain and a better option. It's less portable because bigger, but it's not heavy and screen size is so important for my workflow that I feel it is definitely worth it. The only downside is you have to remember to pack the screwdriver (that comes with it) and don't forget the 2 screws to attach the stand--ideally it wouldn't have screws. All the inputs and buttons are on the back so you can also set it up leaning on some books or something leaving the stand at home. In my opinion, I wouldn't buy this for your home office or gaming because only 900p and 20" is too small.

Great for the price
Great monitor for the price. The 20" screen and 75Hz refresh rate make everything look smooth. Setup was simple and the dual HPMI ports are handy. Picture quality is clear and colors look good. Perfect for work and casual use.

Good little monitor
5 stars because it satisfied every need i had. Pros: - Super easy to use and set up (thanks to Windows 10) - Extremely lightweight - Reasonable Price - Bright - Decent color representation - Decent Definition Cons: - HDMI is a little short so you might need to purchase one a little longer but i was able to make do. - Does not come with VESA Mount screws. 1$ at my local hardware store so no big deal. - The viewing angle in portrait mode (90 degree rotation) is kind of wonkey with 1/2 screen appearing lighter than the other, but not that noticable or annoying for a super cheap secondary monitor. - With the monitor mount that i have the screen is too light for the tensioning spring that raises and lowers the arm so it wants to raise up after a certion point. It's only towards the upper range of the arm motion that this comes into play so again, not a big deal. All in all it seems like a good little monitor, especially when you take the price into account. Time will tell if it holds up. I noticed some temporary flexing of the port plate when i was adjusting it on my mount (where the hdmi and power ports are) but seems fine now. For a secondary monitor for coding, temp monitoring during gaming or something to have youtube on in the background of whatever your doing, idk if you can beat it for the price. As i said before, 5/5 stars because it's perfect for what i want and was a breeze to set up. As far as picture quality and what not, this monitor does a good job at outperforming what it should be doing at the $80 price point. GG Sceptre... or whoever makes it...

Great Picture, Color and Clarity, Nice Monitor
This is a really nice little monitor. I was not expecting much for a low-end monitor at a rock bottom price, but have to admit I am pleasantly surprised. Really, no cons at this price point. Pluses: 1. Very clear, sharp screen for a 1600 x 900 display. Has a better picture than a new 1920 x 1080 HP monitor I have. 2. Very good standard color saturation - not washed out at all. I did not feel the need to adjust color or brightness settings. 3. Good font clarity and sharpness. 4. Has integrated speakers, a nice surprise for such an inexpensive monitor, where many higher-end models don't include speakers. Speakers are not incredibly loud but are very clear and not tinny. The speakers work through the DVI to HDMI cable and there is no need for an extra audio cable. 5. Comes with a DVI-D to HDMI cable as well as a standard VGA to VGA cable. Monitor has a VGA output and two HDMI outputs, as well as audio outputs if you would rather not use the integrated speakers. 6. The monitor stand snaps to the base, and the stand screws into the monitor with just two screws. There is a strong hinge built in which allows easy tilting for your viewing preferences. Took a couple minutes to assemble. 7. Box comes with a screwdriver, so you don't need to have tools of your own. 8. Nice color-coded ports on the back. This is my first Sceptre monitor and based on this, I will be likely to consider this brand again. Very pleased.

It's a monitor, it works, and is perfect for my small space
This monitor is great if you have a small space that can't fit a larger monitor. My main reason for getting this is because my old one was, well, old (2007). It actually wasn't mine, it was a family member's monitor, but it was so dirty and ugly. There were small spots all over the screen that couldn't come off, and the outer frame of the monitor was bent. So finally I decided to just get a new one and put that old one to rest. This is surprisingly the first monitor I've ever purchased, as every monitor I've used in the past were hand-me-downs from other family members. Every single monitor that was given to me in the past had problems, which is probably why they didn't want those. Hahaha. This monitor comes with an HDMI port, so it was even easier for me to hook up. No more DVA and VGI. Oh yeah, this monitor also has speakers, if that interests you. I didn't need it, but that is a nice added bonus. And lastly, the monitor has that display feature that I can't remember the name of that basically either raises or lowers the brightness of your screen automatically depending on what's on your screen. I know it has Dynamic in the name, but yeah, that feature. I used it at first, but then it got too annoying so I turned it off. I don't know how good this monitor is when it comes to gaming as my computer isn't exactly a gaming PC, but I do play older PC games from time-to-time, and everything seems to be fine. Like I said above, I do have the monitor hooked up by HDMI, so I can't comment on the screen quality of VGA. But all in all, it is an excellent replacement for a 13-year old monitor. My computer area is small, so that's why this monitor is perfect. A larger monitor would not fit. I'll make sure this monitor doesn't end up like that last one. It's in good caring hands :)

*Read update! Great monitors for a great price (I have purchased 2)
This monitor is well worth the price and then some! I originally bought my first one of these back in March when I began working from home. I work for the State so I have to have two monitors and had purchased this because it was cheap and available. I really wasn't expecting much with the first one, but I ended up loving it so much I bought another one a week ago because my friend needed his 22 inch Dell monitor back. This thing has MUCH sharper image quality than my buddy's more expensive Dell monitor. My computer utilizes an AMD RX550 graphics card so the AMD Freesync capability comes in handy and it def is a 75 hz monitor. World of Warcraft looks excellent on this monitor. The one downside to it is that the speakers are not the greatest (this is always the case even with most lower end televisions) so get some cheap computer speakers to use instead. I am not so sure about the less favorable reviews. I guess those buyers got malfunctioning products (which can happen - these are mass produced and machines are never perfect). Both units I bought have exceeded expectations and are working extremely well. I would buy again and def will recommend. 5 well earned stars! Update! 02-10-21. DEAD PIXEL! Nearly one year exactly and the first of the two I purchased now has a bad pixel. These monitors are great if you keep in mind what you're getting. The colors are crisp and the AMD Freesync capabilities are awesome, but the quality...it's just not meant to last. It served its purpose during covid-19 for me being mandatory remote (I am back in office now), but for a long term or power user monitor, I would spend a bit more for better quality display. Even so, I am docking 2 stars. Only a year of life is still too short a span for a monitor.
