I bought a mirror some time ago but never hung it up because it didn't come with hooks and I didn't want to chance it falling and breaking - 7 years' bad luck! - if I used something else like plastic hooks or velcro, then I saw something like this in an article on organizational tools for small apartments and it hit me! I could have both a mirror AND a place to put my overflowing jewelry without taking up additional space!And it serves its purpose perfectly. Mostly. That it, it works as it should, but I've just got sooooooo much jewelry! I don't wear earrings because I've developed an allergy to them, so I put my "extra" necklaces on the little hooks where the ear jewels go (see pix) and it mostly works out. The necklace hooks themselves are well suited for their tasks, as are the ring holes, though I haven't yet placed all my finger jewelry. I also really like the bins, as the decorations that I don't wear as often - like watches, anklets, etc. - sit comfortably in them.And the mirror is...well, its a mirror. I can see myself in it, so it does what it should.As a whole, I'm pretty happy with it. Unlike some others here, I'm pleased with its length and width, but the lights don't seem to work inside; I could just need newer batteries, though, so don't let this aside dissuade you. It's pretty sturdy and the over-the-door hooks are long enough that I'm not worried about it falling down.All in all, it's a great li'l multitasker!

Bought this for my daughter's room for Christmas. It can be hung on the wall or over a door so it's versatile and you are given hardware for either option. The only complaint I have is the LED lights inside aren't automatic and run off batteries. I'd love it if it had an automatic setting where when the door opens, the light comes on and if it was rechargeable or could be plugged in.

Living in New York City apartments, I've gotten used to not having a medicine cabinet in the bathroom. But that doesn't mean I figured out what to do with all the things that should go in a medicine cabinet! Bandaids, deodorant, makeup, Advil, nail polish...it was all just shoved into a basket that was a nightmare to sift through. But all of that stuff fits inside this mirrored cabinet, plus I have a place for my necklaces. I even got creative with the jewelry hooks and am using some for plastic headbands, tweezers, and hair clips. This thing is amazing. It was also really easy to install. I tried it on the door first, but my door is very tall, so it wasn't at a good height for me. It was very simple to swap to the wall hooks and it's extremely sturdy on the wall. Good mirror too, no distortion. It's perfection.

I had waited so long to buy this and I am so glad I finally got it!!! It’s so nice to have in the morning to see all my jewelry in one place. It’s made of good material. I have it hung on the wall and it did come with a piece of 2-sided tape so it didn’t slide. We decided to use a screw instead so I didn’t take paint off the wall if the tape came undone

I really really love this cabinet....if only I could use it! I read the reviews about horrific smell but took a chance because this is exactly what I was looking for. We have 2 cats that like neckchains etc,and needed something to put them concealed. Plus,this holds so much more. Had this for 2 weeks and still cannot get this smell out of our house. We live in Wisconsin,its very cold right now,but the first day,we opened all windows and patio door,furnace ran non stop. Didn't help. Today,its 15 degrees below zero...no opening windows today! I'm allergic to chemicals..and I am off from work today,in my home environment,feeling lethargic,headache, shakey,whoozy..because of this cabinet! The smell is due to either the glue holding the felt in place,or used to keep pieces together or a chemical dye in the felt backing. I puechased charcoal packets and put 4 of them in there..did not help. I don't really know what to do with it as of now. The manufacturer of this product obviously doesn't care or doesn't read these reviews. Someone else may have worse allergy reactions than I do and could be a lawsuit! Beware to anyone else considering this cabinet.

This is lifechanging! It was pretty easy to assemble, although it didn't have predrilled holes where it said it did - I just borrowed a drill from my neighbor so it wasnt that much of an inconvenience. Other than that, it is amazing!! The door is magnetic so it stays closed, it holds ALL my jewelry, most of my makeup and is overall exactly what i needed in my life. My room is so clean now.
