Nice power supply
This review for the SPE6103 60V 10A model. The description of this device does mention that at 60V the maximum available current is 5A but it is worth pointing out here. Whilst there are other cheaper models that will provide 5A at 60V, I couldn't determine whether those models would provide 10A up to 30V or not as this unit does. Comparing voltages to my inexpensive multimeter shows the output voltages to be exactly the same. The set voltage compared to the actual output can differ by a few hundredths of a volt however. I haven't been able to measure the output current as my multi-meter is not capable of doing so. As others have mentioned, the display for actually setting the output voltage and current is quite small, not the easiest to use for those of us without perfect eyesight. This could have been better as the unit does have a nice large display screen. You can switch the display from graphing mode to numbers only, but the output settings remain the same size. You can change the output by one hundredth, a tenth, a whole, or multiples of 10. If, for example, you select the hundredths unit, you can dial all the way from 0.01V all the way to 60.00V, that would of course take 6000 clicks of the knob. Each press of the V or I button scrolls through each unit in turn. The OVP and OCP work the same way to set over-volt and over-current protection which terminates the output completely if those values are reached. I haven't heard the unit make any noise, but it is quite cold in my garage and I have only used it up to around 30V 2A up until now. I was a little dissapointed that there were no cables included for actually using the power supply, but it is not stated that they are included. Just something to be aware of. Seems like a nice piece of kit with decent build quality. Can't comment on longevity yet though.

Good, compact, DC power supply
Overall I'm very happy with the power supply. Having used 2 DIY power supplies, I built previously, I feel far more confident using the factory one. It is accurate and has all the required protections built in. My only critisism is, when changing the digit/decimal place, on either the volatage or current settings, the highlight cursor is not very visible. This would not stop me purchasing, but I am sure there is a better alternative.

Very useful for your tool shed. Digital control dial is quite easy to use.
Great unit - I needed something that went up to 60V and this fitted perfectly. Operation is easier than I thought it would be. I noticed with these digital rotary controls, the volts and amps settings are done digit at a time - ie you press a button to set in 0.1, 1, 10 units (there's a small cursor to show which digit you change) It's not the same as an analogue dial that you just turn from 0 to 11. What I didn't realise was that you can just keep it on the smallest setting and keep turning - i.e. you could leave it on 0.1 and it will move from 0.9 to 1.0 (not 0.0) It kind of works as you hope it would. The V+I graph is the default display which is a bit of a shame, it's generally not very useful versus large digits. However you can see everything on the decent sized screen - both the set V/I and the actual V/I - so it's much better than the cheaper 7-segment LED units. Particularly useful when you're using constant current mode and you can see the live voltage as well as your set maximum. (e.g. when charging a broken lithium battery cell) I can't think of any downside of the unit. It's true that you can't do 60V at 10A (it will be 5A max) - but the unit is clearly labelled 300W only, so it's fair that you are limited by total power (30Vx10A = 300W, 48Vx6.25A = 300W, 60Vx5A = 300W ... you get the picture)

Great for home / hobby use.
Great unit, much better than I expected. Controls take some getting use to, but once target voltage set unit works well. The ability to switch the supply on / off without killing the unit is expected but not present on some other units. Very pleased with this purchase.

Great PSU
I needed a 60V adjustable & current Adjustable PSU for finally charging 48VDC batteries of any type and work great finally tune the voltage and current for correct battery charging Even tried on my car battery 14.12 V current limit to 3A although does work up to 10A worked great as you see the current drop as you near full charge And the bonus is it’s also a multimeter so you can double check the output well with it very happy

Expected longer service lige
Used on test bench 4 days of continuous power output to ecu bench. Did not last long. Disappointed and concerning , set to 14vdc at 0.2A with limit set to 15 volts 10 A limit. Errored and produces 79VDC regardless of control setup Are these units properly tested.
