Yummy!
I'm trying to cut back on carbs that don't have much fibber. This little snack scoop is perfect! Plenty of fiber per ounce of snack scoop for hummus or salsa. Highly recommend!

Different from a potato chip, but I like it.
I have always been a fan of fried plantains but have never tried them in place of a potato chip. I have to say, while they are not 1-to-1, they do offer something different and still quite tasty. The Barnana - Rowdy Ranch-Flavored Plantain Scoops have an awesome ranch flavor that hits out of the park. The plantain chip has a decent crunch to it... as good as a plantain can give. A serving size is about 14 chips and the sodium is not too bad at 65 mg and they are a good source of fiber. The bad of course is the saturated fat at 4 gm.While I probably won't eat these regularly due to the saturated fat, I still liked the flavor and would recommend if you are looking for something outside of the standard potato chip box.

Crunchy texture, ranchy flavor, perfect for dipping
Plantain chips can go either way. Sometimes they are good but other times they are rock hard and flavorless. These Barnana Rowdy Ranch plantain chips are one of the better ones I have tried. I am a salty snack lover and these really hit the spot when I'm craving something crunchy and salty! The chips have a traditional plantain crunch. It's not airy and crispy like a potato chip. It has a denser, somewhat mealy crunch that is still equally satisfying. The flavor is what really makes these stand out from other brands of plantain chips. If you are tired of bland, under seasoned chips, these might be just what you are looking for. They have a nice amount of ranch seasoning, aren't overly salty, and don't have any off putting flavors. They also aren't super sweet like many plantain chips that I have tried. If you are a dipper, the texture of these is definitely sturdy enough to hold up to pretty much any kind of toppings or dips. I prefer mine plain but I have paired them with hummus (both garlic and plain) and avocado ranch dip and all were quite tatsy!

Crunchy without tons of plantain flavor.
These are crunchy and crisp - more so than I expected them to. If you actually use them as scoops in dip, they will hold up well. They don't have much banana flavor to them, which is good or bad depending on your preferences. I don't like heavy plantain flavor, I and enjoyed these. The ranch flavoring is done well, if a little odd.My only complaint is that the bags aren't resealable, as it's a bit much to eat in one sitting. This review was for "Barnana - Rowdy Ranch-Flavored Plantain Scoops, Healthy Snacks, Bold & Zesty Flavor, High in Fiber, Zero Sugar, Made w/ 100% Coconut Oil, Grain-Free, Non-GMO, USDA Organic, Gluten-Free (6-Pack, 140g)"

Yum
Great plantain chips. Taste is fresh and crispy. Price is a bit too much.

Good fresh flavor
Both the taste and texture are good. Good for snacking on the go, much healthier than sugary snacks. The banana is tasteful and very crispy, but I felt they have a little bit too much salt. My 10 years old liked it and it would be a great option for her for a school snack. The size (5 oz. / 140 grams) of each bag is larger than other similar snacks – good for sharing.

Not bad
I've tried plantain chips from another brand, but they were a bit bland. These have a good ranch flavor, might be a bit salty if you're on a low-sodium diet. And the chips are really hard, so if you have sensitive/bad teeth, maybe avoid these. But overall a decent alternative to potato chips.

I like them with peanut butter
There are only three ingredients in these chips. Green plantains, coconut oil, and Himalayan pink salt. The chips are not that sweet because they are made from green plantains and not ripe plantains. Dried ripe plantains would have more natural sugar in them. They are good eaten alone, even with their distinctive flavor. My favorite way to eat this snack is by dipping the chips in peanut butter. Yum.
