Hose clamps are probably not at the top of most peoples must have tool lists but I think they should be. While they are not in the same category as duct tape and WD40 they are incredibly useful little items. For instance, I have an outdoor clothes dryer where one strings the lines back and forth so that clothes can be hung from them. It is always tricky to get the line to where it is really taut. That's where the hose clamps come into play. As I am stringing the line and pulling it tight I use hose clamps around the tubing to keep the line tight. When I am done I can either remove the clamps or just leave them where they are. Either way the line is tight and it stays that way. Hose clamps also work really well for securing strings when constructing a simple pvc pipe trellis for a vegetable garden. I use them to secure pipe insulation around my hose bibs and standpipes in the winter to prevent frozen pipes and big plumbing bills. This box of clamps has a nice variety of sizes and the price is great.

Wish the heads were imperial sizes rather than metric. The work fine if you need some parts for around the shop, Not the highest quality but good for the price.

Got these because they are CHEAP.But that is the key word, CHEAP.These work, I am using a good number. But if you really want a good squeeze, like fuel lines maybe use two or use better.These are great but maybe not the best for "Mission Critical" stuff.I would not use these on my spaceship : )

How many of us really need 120 hose clamps? Nah, most of us would rather wait until we spring a leak, then drive up to the home improvement center and pay a couple of bucks for a single clamp. Oops, we need two. OK, time wasted; gas burned: high price: and discover we bought the wrong size. These hose clamps are garbage quality. The rings for the worm gear are thin and the alloy, while claiming to be 304, is super brittle. See the pictures. The one on the right is a stainless steel hose clamp from O’reillys and the one on the left is the Qibaok. Both are Made in China, both “stainless steel”. Notice the worm gear retainer is 2x thicker on the O’reillys compared to the Qibaok. Also noticed the terrible failure while tightening the Qibaok. I would not trust these hose clamps for anything critical, like oil cooler lines or fuel lines. They might leave you stranded or ruin your car/power equipment!
