Just get an active adapter to start with....
It says you can plug it into your GPU, plug it into your VGA monitor and it will just work....It doesn't on Windows 10 with a RX580! Had to get an 'active' version from another brand.Needless to say it is "Return Started"

Waste of money
Doesn’t work at all, borrowed a working cable from a friend which works on my pc however his one doesn’t. Should have read the reviews first as everyone seems to have the same problem. Avoid this and spend your money on one that actually works!
