DAYSTART PU Foam Dagger Prop, Non-Functional Costume Dagger with Plastic Core for Adult Cosplay

I was really impressed that the quality of the foam was not floppy at all. It was stiff and felt like it was made of wood, but lightweight and the painting quality is really quite nice. Overall a great value and perfect for my son's halloween costume.

These foam daggers can definitely be thought of as real, until you get much closer or in some cases, touch it.. they have a good balance and weight and are comfortable in your hand. I walked around all day, mostly grabbing the handle of the dagger and it didn't rub off, flake, or have any immediate wear damage that would indicate they were super cheap factory made.

These daggers are OK for costumes, props, or training very lightly in a controlled manner. They are PU foam, BUT they are very ridged. I intended to use these for German & Italian HEMA dagger training in order to safely test/practice techniques. I would not feel safe sparring with these unless you have padding/protective gear. HOWEVER, these would be perfectly fine as costume/ren-fare accessories.

We used as stage prop in a theater performance. Looked real and ofcourse was safer than metallic versions. However, since it's made of foam, it gets scratches and dents with moderate hitting. Some of the paint color rubbed off a little, hope they improve that aspect.

These were exactly what I needed for a high school production! They look very real, but are soft (although I suppose it could still bruise if you jabbed someone too hard). Love them!

Arrived somewhat scuffed up. Packaging was rather good, so I doubt it happened in transit. I'll be painting it bronze regardless, so it doesn't really matter to me, but still something to note.

High quality foam daggers. I used these for props in a stage production and they worked excellent! They held up to a lot of abuse by our actors and survived. We had an actor throw this dagger down on the ground extremely hard as he was dying every night of our performance and it still almost looks brand new. These are sturdy and well made.

Very nice quality close up and from afar. Has some weight to it and shiny to look real. Would not throw it around as a dagger but very nice addition to my outfit.

Got one for my son and I. We have a lot of fun with them. Good quality

Les épées courtes ( Ou dague longues ) on fait un super travail pour mon petit homme dans notre jeux de rôle. Par contre, la couche de mousse le long de la lame n'est pas très absorbante et les coups peuvent être assez intense pour ceux qui les recoivent. J'ai vu pire et j'ai vu mieux. Mais malgré cela, je recommande fortement le produit.
