First aid refills
These are individual pre-wetted iodine wipes, so you don't need to fumble with gauze and a bottle of liquid when using iodine. These are to replace supplies in my first-aid kit. I would recommend putting the wipes in a plastic (or other sealed) bag in case one tears or gets punctured, as iodine can get messy or stain certain materials. The box arrived slightly crushed/deformed but the wipes inside all seemed okay. I like to procure these supplies in bulk so I can always keep extras on-hand, and these seem like a good value and quality.

Doesn’t dye skin but smells odd
I’ve used an iodine spray in the past and that colored my skin briefly until I washed it off. The color from these wipes didn’t stay on my skin as much as the spray did. I used it on my fingers and the color was gone after it dried and I put hand lotion on.It has an odd smell. I’m not sure what it smells like. Maybe a light plastic smell or slight chemical smell. It goes away and it’s not too strong but I don’t remember the spray having any smell. It’s been a while since I used an iodine spray but I thought the iodine bubbled when it interacted with a skin cut. This doesn’t have any bubbling. I like to use iodine on cuts because it seems to help heal the cut faster than without it, and these iodine wipes seem to help heal a couple spots on hands quicker. The wipe is folded in half and can open up larger. It’s soaked with the iodine and has a good amount of liquid for small cuts. I had a hard time opening it in the beginning because I was trying to open it in a section that doesn’t have a slit. The packs have a plastic layer between foil layers, so the plastic layer is hard to rip or peel open. Later I saw the little slits on the side and that made opening it a lot easier. The package is good quality and looks like it will not dry out like alcohol wipes, which tend have have more paper like packaging and dry out over time.

Handy for the first aid kit
I keep a first aid kit in home storage and load up on items that will last. These stay wet in their individually packaged envelopes. They are particularly handy to take on hiking trips, etc. I use them to disinfect in case of a scrape.

Good to Have Around - Just in Case
My Ever Ready first Aid Povidone Iodine Wipes arrived today sealed in a box that shows a manufacture date of 10-2-2023 and an expiration date of 10-1-2026. There are a lot of wipes in this box, and it is my sincere hope that I will never use them all. I specifically got these to keep for emergencies, and as wipes, they are easily stored most anywhere. I can keep a couple in my purse, in my car, and in various locations in my house. Iodine is an excellent disinfectant that is used in surgical settings, so using it for cuts and such, if one is not allergic, is indicated. I remember my parents always using iodine on my cuts and scrapes when I was growing up. It will stain, so having these small wipes, which have the added advantage of not drying out and being premeasured, will make them handier. I wore disposable gloves in order to check one of the wipes out and found it to be well covered with the iodine solution, which adheres to the wipe as opposed to dripping. It easily rubs off the wipe onto whatever surface it comes in contact with. It is also odorless.I am happy to recommend Ever Ready First Aid Povidone Iodine Wipes to anyone not in the medical profession who is looking for an effective means of keeping small wounds free of germs. If memory serves me correctly, it will sting a bit when first applied. It is, however, effective. In medical settings, it is, of course, widely used in surgical procedures. Obviously, you can't go wrong with this product, assuming there is no allergic reaction. Instructions for use and drug facts are printed on both the box and on each individual packet.

perfect for my hiking first aid kit.
I keep several different first aid kits for different times. I have 1 small kit that stays in my hiking backpack just for walks and/or hikes in the woods. I needed some additional wipes for sterilizing small wounds and this was perfect. This comes with 50 tear-off sleeves with 2 individually wrapped wipes per sleeve. Inside each sleeve is a 1" square piece of cloth soaked in iodine. If you never used it before, we warned that it looks like blood. I have these as just extra layer of protection in my kit for small cuts or scrapes while out and about. This takes up very little space to add a to the kit and almost no weight added. I put 4 sleeves in my kit. I then added 1 single sleeve to a pocket in my wallet. The rest I added to my main household first aid station so I can pull out for refills in the future. if needed.

Equal to those in the hospital, and handy for the first aid kits.
I work in vet med, and used to use iodine for everything. The tread has moved to less irritating cleaners so I don't use it as often. I was happy to see these wipes offfered in the Vine program. There are times that iodine solution is prefered but I really don't want to have a huge bottle hanging around. The wipes look the same as those in used by my physicians' office & in the hospital. I open one and was surprised to see the amount of iodine in the wipe packet - it was actually dripping out of the packet when I opened it! I tried it on my hand, left it set until it was mostly dried, then wiped off the remaining solution. What little orange coloration was on my hand washed off without issues. Cost is only about $6 for the box of 100 and that is so much of a better bargin that a bottle that can leak and make a huge mess!! Splitting up between 3 first aid kits, plus keeping some in the house. If you've never really had to use true betadine iodine solution - in my younger years, I spilled some on my brown leather shoes during work. Really didn't discolor my shoes and thought nothing more. Till I removed my socks and found I had a big orange spot on my foot! So wipes only in my house!!!
