I bought this to upgrade my custom rig from an ASRock Intel 8th gen motherboard. This board works great out of the box. Installed the board along with an Intel I3-12100. I transferred the 16GB RAM and GTX 1650 from the old motherboard and installed Windows 11 without issues. I ran the fan tweak in BIOS and put the fans into "Silent" mode. Board runs great and is rock solid. I do not overlock so I can't say if it does that well or not. ASUS quality is always solid.

On my original submission , I had problems updating the bios, and when I did finally get it in, the file I downloaded from microsoft wouldnโt install. Then after spending a few hours with an Asus tech, I found that there were no instructions revealing that the media file had to be unzipped prior to plugging the usb into the computer. All it would take , is larger font in the manual , more explicit instructions to reduce consumer time to get it running!1!

I had a spare 14th gen i9 processor and needed a small cheap worker machine to host it. This worked out of the box and I also see that asus put out a bios update to address the i9 voltage issues. Ubuntu Server installed without issue, no driver problems. Unlike their high end ROG motherboards, this little guy doesn't have heat sinks everywhere so there was plenty of room to install a big CPU cooling unit.
