Ok, it arrived yesterday, I already used it twice! I love it, as a beginner, it’s just what I need it. Yesterday on the Puget Sound, the water was calm and it was a nice first time. Today took it to Lake Cushman and it was wavy af, but the raft was GREAT. The material seems good and resistant enough for the kind of activity I’ll be using it for. The set up is SO easy, I used a tiny battery air pump and in 2 minutes it’s ready, easy to inflate. Super light weight, even after using it! The design is cool, it looks as good as it’s shown on the picture. The size was perfect for me, I’m 5’8, anyone taller than me will be very uncomfortable as my feet fit perfectly with not much room forward. Check out my set up video & my ride at Lake Cushman. I've been shopping (this item is my 3rd try) for a super-packable, lightweight lake toy, and I've finally found it. We have a camper van and I only have a small amount of storage area (due to bikes, weaving looms, etc. etc.) to allocate to a water toy. We often take road trips and I look longingly as we drive by lakes or reservoirs. This packs so small it will fit at the corner foot of the bed. It's just the perfect size for me, 5 ft. 6 in., 140 pounds. It is narrow and short enough I store my drybag at the front of the cockpit to use the area as a foot stop, and the tube sides help support my legs if I want to sit semi-cross legged. If I eventually need additional room, I would set up a bungie cord system at the bow and store my dry bag there. I've taken it out four times on our current road trip so far—Willamette River, Odell Lake, Lake Tahoe and very slow section of the Green River, and it gets me on the water quickly and has been a dream so far, although I am unsure of it's long term durability. It's SO fast to set up and go (2 minutes of inflation with a small, USB rechargeable e- pump and 30 seconds to deflate). It’s been fun on these gorgeous fall days. It comes with an optional fin, although I'm not sure how helpful it is; I'm going to have to practice paddling light strokes so as to minimize zigzagging! I'm much more use to a paddleboard, which steers much better, is more stable and handles strong strokes without any zigzagging, but then, it's way too large and cumbersome to take on a road trip. I'm just happy to have something that will get me on a lake quickly, and the price is very reasonable as compared with the upper echelon brands.

Be clear I am not rating this on a long term basis as I’ve only used it once. I have no clue about the durability of it or how it will hold up over time. That said upon first inspection and use it appears to be very well constructed with good quality materials and overall appears to be a high quality product. With that out of the way I can say this is the most fun I’ve had with An Amazon purchase on a while. i had to take my wife to an appointment about 500 miles away and the small size and weight allowed me to chuck this in the back of the car where any other watercraft would be simply impossible. That is, this little thing will allow you to be on the water in situations where you otherwise wouldn’t , be it a camping trip or hiking or just any situation where something bigger is Not realistic. I’m not real experienced with kayaking but to me this tracked and handled just fine on a very windy day at the lake. I am 6 ‘2 around 290 and I had no problems using this thing (I do have a short inseam though) . I was completely comfortable using it and it felt very stable and secure. Maneuvering around was effortless. Set up and tear down/ packing it up is also very easy. Rolls up easily and fairly compact. Probably not like some of the more expensive packrafts but still pretty compact and light. EDIT: 1+ year update, still wokring great. Love this thing.

This is a good raft I bought as a spare for my boat in case of an emergency. Fills up rather quickly and has the ability to quick deflate by taking out the cap completely. The bag the raft comes with also can be inflated manually very easily with your mouth and used as a seat or additional flotation device. This is lightweight TPU so I'm not sure how long it will last but I don't plan on using it much just for emergency but I will update this review in a year after it's been stored on my boat.

Came in with a hole in it and I wasn’t able to return it.
