Right fit and good cloth

I wanted so much to love this. My son is a severely disabled teen who has been using disposables all his life. I was hopeful that cloth diapers would be a green and more comfortable option. Are these cloth ones comfy? Yes, very, when dry. But unlike disposables where the moisture is drawn out through the length of the diaper, for this cloth diaper the moisture pools in the centre, and since my son's pee is of considerable volume, the cloth ones leak after a single pee and there's a mess to clean. I hear that cloth diapers get more absorbent with repeated uses - we washed it thoroughly before use (no softeners) and reused it about four times, and used 2-3 extra long inserts iI. Duh, it doesn't matter how long the insert is - the moisture never gets to the ends, the flood being such that it spills out at the centre. So son is uncomfortable and unhappy, and we caregivers are stressed, and needing to change diapers every 1-2 hours, whereas the disposables could last 4-5 hours. Maybe I should persevere for a full month to give this a chance, but unfortunately the mess has been such that I've decided it's not working for us. I would highly recommend this for incontinence use. It's beautifully made, great workmanship, comfy and discreet. If you have small accidents at night, this should be fine. But if the patient is completely bed bound and the diaper has to cover all the toileting, disposables are still unfortunately the way to go.

These are great adult diapers. Our grandmother prefers this brand. Easy to clean and change. Good fit and comfortable. Great quality. Will be buyiny more.

These are perfect for me, having cerebral palsy I have accidents, but not all the time. So I picked these up so that I’m not wasting money on disposables, which are trash the second you take them off... even if they’re clean! The liners are removable which is great so you can rinse them out before you put them in the washer (I think they come out cleaner doing so). My only complaint is the Velcro is really strong, and unfastening them can be difficult. But other than that, these are a great reusable diaper that feels great to wear!
