This stuff is fantastic!
I originally bought the Chestnut, but ended up returning it for the black, the product is great, high quality, holds up very well, and is fairly easy to apply...The customer service is fantastic, I dealt directly with the company and didn't have to go through Amazon, once I sent the tracking number of the product I was sending back, to customer service, they sent me out the new one right away, I didn't even have to wait for the Chestnut to get to them and be processed before they sent me the black, It was a fantastic experience and I would definitely buy from them again.I should mention, the Chestnut is quite lovely, a rich chocolate color, I returned it only because the color I had painted my cabinets didn't turn out as warm as I had expected and so the black ended up being a better fit.

After a year...
A PAIN to get on but absolutely great once it is done. I waited a year after installing to write a review. It is still on the counters and gorgeous. We have a couple of scratches here and there but not noticeable until you run your hand over them. The chestnut goes wonderfully with black or stainless steel appliances. It is VERY dark with a burl pattern in deep russet brown. It looks almost black with the brown peering through. I was worried about the pattern resolution looking too synthetic / cheap when it was on the roll, but on the counters it is great. The texture is smooth and shiny like granite, just as easy to clean. Hasn't peeled up or warped. A couple of points:- It is not going to fool anyone who gets close into thinking you have granite, but it's touchable. It doesn't feel or seem like anything is 'stuck on' the countertops. It feels like slick epoxy.- It can withstand some heat, but comes with a warning. It'll handle a hot plate out of the microwave but not a pot off the stove, or pan out of an oven. I was worried I'd mess up in this regard, but after a year I haven't burned it once.- when you install, you're going to want: soap and water in a spray bottle to keep it nice and wet on the adhesive side. This keeps it manageable. A credit card for smoothing out bubbles. A helper or two for maneuvering it and smoothing. (Getting it smooth and cutting around a sink takes the bulk of the application time.)- It took about 4 hours total with 3 people, but we had a lot of counter space, a large sink and a curved back splash which it covered pretty seamlessly.

just like new countertops
This is an excellent product. A little tricky to put on, but a video on u-tube helped a lot. Once on, it looks beautiful!!

They have great customer service and a great idea...Unfortunately, not a great product.
Maybe we didn't have realistic expectations. I was NOT expecting a granite countertop but this was more like decorative electrical tape all over the countertops. To be honest, someone else installed this and it was not installed correctly at first. It looked like it was a rushed job and pieced together. I contacted the manufacturer/seller to see if there was anyway to get a discount on another order and also paid installation. They did offer to send a small roll out for free (they didn't have to do that) but no installation was available even though I live in the same city as them (they couldn't even give references for an installer). So I took the last of the roll that I had and installed it correctly. The reason I didn't want to install it myself is because I am a perfectionist and I want it done right. I installed it and it was on perfectly - covered the countertop like it was its own skin. But the result was the same (without bumps and creases)...It looked fine from the living room but the minute you walked into the kitchen, it still looked like electrical tape. It also feels like electrical tape - kinda of rubbery and is not durable at all. Of course, you don't want to put hot items on there but I was pulling a can out of a grocery bag and dropped it and it gashed the film - this was a plastic grocery bag so it wasn't dropped from a high distance. Very disappointed.

Gives a nice granite look without the high cost
Not a huge fan of the quality of this product. No matter how lightly I pressed down with the provided squeegee to remove air bubbles, it scratched the finish of the vinyl. Installing the vinyl was a little tricky. Definitely recommend having 2 people working on it so that you can have one person heating the vinyl up with a hair dryer and the other stretching and sticking it into place. Air bubbles definitely form and while we were able to get most of them out, others did not want to go away. The material is a good thickness and has a nice gloss to it making your countertop look like granite. From a distance our countertop looks perfect, but up close you can see the air bubbles and scratches. I have included pics of the scratches with the included squeegee. Overall, I would give higher stars if they can improve the squeegee to not scratch the vinyl.

Arrived quickly and installed as instructed.
I bought just one of these rolls as a test before I do my kitchen. I installed it in my master bathroom and made many mistakes while doing so, I shouldn't have picked a counter top with two sinks as my first project. But after lots of adjusting and trimming I got it installed and it looks pretty good and it's holding up well to my daily use so far.Just like they advertise, you are able to pull it right back up from the counter top. I did have trouble getting some of the bubbles out but they recommend poking the spot with a pin and then using the provided flattening tool or something like a credit card, this worked out well.I've already recommended this product to several family members and plan to install it in a rental home.
