I use it on duty when I’m just doing investigative work or administrative work and don’t need a full duty belt. It gets it out of my pocket and horizontal for comfort and quick access.

This belt sheath is for bigger wider knives like spyderco paramilitary 2 or 3 etc. The sheath is well made and well stitched, the leather is thick, It’s going to last a long time.

Slim and both tuck UNDER the belt, so no floppy bits of leather. Nice thick leather. Definitely for a short and rather slim knife. Also, there is a loop on the back, to hook it vertically.Would buy again.

This is a very nice high quality sheath. Especially when considering the materials used, the quality of the construction, and a tested design. hand made product and coming in at just under 10$ at the time of this review. We'll worth every penny.Made from genuine leather, my choice was the dark green and black dyed leather. The sheath is a 3 piece leather construction. The back plate of the sheath is double layer of leather stitched together. It helps hide the back of the rivets and gives the sheath a nice clean look.The sheath comes with 3 mounting options. Standard carry (verticle mount) with regular belt loop that's been riveted to the back of the sheath. Scout carry (horizontal mount) using the double belt slots that have been punched out of the back plate section of the sheath, and lastly on the back of the sheath is a leather loop with a half moon ring. I think your supposed to get a carabiner attached to the ring as well. In the pictures you see a carabiner and in the features list the description mentions a carabiner, unfortunately mine did not arrive with one, but that's ok with me, most likely it would have arrived with a cheap carabiner being a free added gift if one was supposed to be included, and secondly I already have dozens of unused and available carabiners in my junk drawer.The sheath comes in two sizes. A small size for knives ranging in the 3.5 - 4 inches length, and a large size for knives 5 inches or slightly larger.Fit and finish on my sheath was ok, it could have been better, but nothing serious, no damage, defects or any flaws, the only real issue I had was the edges of the leather and where holes were punched into it had small strands of fiber that were hanging off some of the edges.. but for me that was not a big deal.A small pair of scissors or a pair of flat edge hobby snippers and the sheath was pristine again. These fibers were the only real issue, and technically it wasn't really a genuine issue, it was more of a personal compulsion just because I like my tools to look clean and sleek. But overall I'm very happy with this sheath. Genuine leather, quality construction and a quality hand made product that's well worth every penny.You probably won't be able to find another sheath made with the same quality and same materials for the price this sheath is selling for. I highly recommend you grab one while they are still in stock and being sold at such a low price.
