I got this as a gift for my son because he loves trains. When we first opened it I was happy that it was a nice big size. The colors and quality are really nice too. It is easy to tell they did not skimp out on print quality. I read it a few occasions to my son (to put him to sleep) because the details weren't that exciting for him, and trust me when I say THERE ARE DETAILS. Details about the history of the locomotives, such specific details about the years, the models, the manufacturers, the engines, the horsepower. The author clearly took time to write this book and if you are a true train historical nut, this really is for you. 10/10 on quality, data and information, photographs, schematics, history.
