It is not leather, that is for sure. Possibly a heavy plastic, certainly not worth the price I paid.

Yes it has a long strap, but not worth the money..

What are the measurements of the purse?

It is 10" wide, 6" tall, 1-1/2" deep. The little handle is detachable, so you don't have it hanging there when you use the shoulder strap (which is also detachable).
