I was a little skeptical after reading some of the reviews. The price was right so I took a chance. I took this to work and attached to overhead crane, and attached to a 7 inch diameter by 39 inches long 4140 round stock weighing about 400 pounds. I raised the hoist and picked up the part about an inch off the pallet and gave the chain a good shake! This magnet held securely. I suspect some people were trying to pick up objects that were too thin, thereby losing maximum penetration. The chart does show about 1 inch thickness or more for best penetration. The guide does show that round stock will lose some advantage between 30% and 50% compared to flat stock. My demonstration performed better than that. Of course you should never trust any magnet completely, even after giving a good shake, I still would not put my hands or feet in path of danger. So please---- Always Be Careful! Hope this helps.

Pricey but would buy again.

This works really good, purchased this for a construction site picking up sewer grates. Saves your back. Only down fall if this gets mud on it the magnet doesn't work well, if you wipe it off works well.

I use mine all the time and it hold up fine. I pick some steel plates pretty frequently and they hold up fine.

Could not left a 4x8 sheet of 10ga safely. Very disappointed. I’ve bought several Vevor products with low expectations but was happily surprised. Not this time. I can’t even have it in my shop, I know it can’t lift even close to the 1300lbs, so I’m good but if the next guy comes along, reads label and attempts to lift and something happens, the risk is too high so now it goes to my junk room at home.

This has been a game changer for lifting cutting edges. Use it almost every day it works great and saves lots of time not having to rig things up.

Good quality of build, but hard to imagine that it has 880lbs of pulling capacity. I created some large washers out of 14ga scrap steel. Then put the magnet under a 3/8” steel plate table and attempted to clean the washers with an angle grinder and flap disc. The washers flew about the room. Not sure of the strength value of my purchase.

Works great does exactly what it says it will do.

Doesn’t lift 300kg, unsafe at even 50kg. Has its uses but plan for it suddenly losing its grip.

Für den Preis absolut okay! In der Leistungsklasse müsste man normalerweise mit deutlich mehr Kohle rüber kommen. Da hält der Anbieter was er verspricht. Also gute Tools für einen bezahlbaren Preis. Ist nicht mein erster und bestimmt auch nicht mein letzter vevor-kauf.

Very powerful but not friendly to engage and disengage magnet . Ok for thick flat objects but poor for small multiple pieces

Le produit ne correspond absolument pas à mes attentes. Le levage réel est différent de celui indiqué sur la fiche technique, ce qui rend le produit non conforme.J’ai donc demandé le renvoi des deux aimants. Or, malgré un deuxième rendez-vous de collecte fixé, personne ne s’est présenté pour récupérer les colis. Cette situation est inacceptable et manque de sérieux. Je vous demande de prendre les mesures nécessaires rapidement afin de résoudre ce problème sans délai.
