I gave this serum to my mother to try, as she was curious about starting a proper anti-aging skincare routine. This was her first time using a product with retinol, so we were a bit cautious at first, expecting some of the common side effects like tingling, redness, or peeling—especially on more mature skin. She’s only been using the serum for a few days, just under a week, but so far the experience has been very positive. The serum is lightweight and smooth, absorbs nicely, and leaves her skin feeling soft and well-hydrated. Most importantly, there have been no side effects at all—no burning, no tightness, no irritation, which is often a concern with retinol-based products. She really liked the feel of the product on her skin and mentioned that it felt calming and refreshing. The niacinamide seems to help support the skin barrier, and it’s nice to know the formula includes 81% natural ingredients and is vegan-friendly, which made her more comfortable using it. It’s a pipette-style bottle, not a pump, and the design works well—easy to use and allows for precise application. I am relatively new to Korean skincare but enjoying trying some products out so this is a brand that is new to me. The appearance of this serum was slightly unexpected - somewhat cloudy - but it is non-greasy and absorbs well. As someone with dry skin this definitely helped my skin feel more hydrated and so far I am very impressed with it.

This is a very good introductory starter retinol or just retinol for people whose skin doesn't need anything heavy duty. First of all, the bottle is nice and sturdy and it comes with a nice pipette for application, I was momentarily... a bit taken aback by the colour of the liquid as it's quite cloudy but this seems to be "how it is", not an off batch. Oh well, onwards and upwards, I thought. I wouldn't say this is fragrance free personally, there's a subtle scent - which is actually very pleasant - but it doesn't linger longer. This is a fairly thin serum in my opinion and it absorbs nearly instantly but it's runny enough that I don't feel like my fingers are dragging on my skin when I rub it in. It's a dewy finish and does make my skin feel more soft and supple. This is a 50ml bottle, which is a bit more than the usual 30ml you get with similar serums particularly from Korea, so there's good value for money with this too. All in all, recommend for anyone curious about retinol and want something gentle that'll at least leave you with a nice glow!

I am a fan of Korean skincare. Actually majority of my skin care items are Korean. I think these are becoming more available in the high street shops now as well. However there are so many brands around and it is difficult to choose good value for money items. I decided to try this serum from village 11 factory. It is easy to apply, absorbed very well and quickly. Leaves skin feeling soft. Does not leave a greasy residue. You need to use only a small amount of it so this bottle should last for some time. So far I am happy with the product and how my face skin feels after application of it.

This showed up on the counter one evening, and I noticed the usual clutter of bottles had been pushed aside to make room for it. That’s when I figured it must be doing something right. I asked how it was going, and my wife just said, “this one’s actually good,” which, knowing her, means a lot. As you can gather, it is my wife and her skin testing this product out whilst I get all the idea and knowledge about it from person that knows best out of the two of us when it comes to skincare. She likes that it’s light, no heavy or greasy feeling after applying it. It just sinks in and leaves her skin looking fresh, smooth, and more...awake, I guess. Not in a dramatic way, just noticeably healthier. There’s retinol in it, but it must be a lower amount because she didn’t mention any irritation or dryness, which is something she’s run into with stronger stuff in the past. Niacinamide helps even things out too, I don’t know all the science behind it, but you can see the glow. Her skin looks more even toned, and kind of lifted. Not fake or shiny, just healthy. Also, credit where it’s due...she’s been trying a lot of different skincare over the years, and the ones that come from South Korea always seem to do the job better than most. This one’s no exception. That’s about it. No nonsense, no reactions, just something that’s clearly working well. And from her reaction, this one’s a keeper.

This serum is a new brand to me and I've checked it is a popular brand in Korea. I always tends to use Asia brand for skin care as i think it best fit my skin type. The bottle of the serum is dark in colour so that it shield the serum from Sunlight. The top of the little attached with a pipette which is useful to dispense serum for application. The serum itself is cloudy, milky colour. They are very easy to absorb and I do not need too much for each time, about 3/4 to one full pump depends the size of your face. I can feel my skin gradually less dull and start to glow. The price per ml is reasonable. The village11 formula, retinol and niacinamide did a good job. Happy to recommend it.

This is a review of Village 11 Factory Miracle Youth Serum (50ml). The appearance of this serum in the dropper is a bit off-putting (cloudy and yellowish/off-white ), but it feels OK when applied – light, not greasy and absorbs well. It is supposed to be almond scented, but it’s barely noticeable. I’ve used a serum from Village 11 before, and it definitely helped with my dry skin. This one contains a mysterious “Village Complex” which is not explained in the Amazon product description; so I have provided a photo of the ingredients listed on the pack. There are a lot of things in there (e.g. witch hazel, lavender, liquorish, tea tree, etc.), so I recommend you check it doesn’t contain anything you are allergic too. My only complaint is the price.

I've been using this V11 serum for a month now and improvements to my skin are clearly visible for my friends. One of them has recently commented: 'you're glowing'. Looking everyday into the mirror I cannot see it myself as such but my skin has brighten up and plumped up. This serum definitely boosted elasticity of my skin. The lines are much smoother now and less visible - that I have actually noticed myself. It provides a great hydration to my skin and keeps moisture in - hence the lines appearance improvements. No scent, great texture, zero greasiness, great absorption and my skin is smooth to touch. I can only highly recommend this serum and I see there's currently a deal (£12.90 vs regular price £20.20) - just give it a go. It's worth it.
